Hose regulator / gauge failed after one year. Replaced with this which is longer and easier to install.Followed directions to turn tank on slowly and got good flame. Worked perfectly and allowed room to tank tank out for disconnecting.

My neighbor gave me basically a brand new barbecue that he got off of one of his friends. It’s nice where were girl me and my wife cleaned it up but the hose did not have a regulator on it that connected to the new propane tank we bought so I ordered this unit was shorter, which was only 3 feet to get braided twice not a problem regulator job safety device no leaks or anything. Only from my head with it was when I opened it out of the package. I got stabbed by a stainless steel wire piece otherwise there’s nothing sticking out of it. The steel is in contact. Very nice unit .

This hose is shielded and works well so far. A squirrel chewed through my old rubber hose so I’m hoping it will not find this one as tasty!

So far so good, but time will tell if the squirrels can't chew a hole in it

I purchased month ago but late for return/exchange time, so the problem with it is that, gas is too low and won’t get to higher heat, adjusted burner air and done everything I could think of but no luck.

Now my wife doesn't have to get on her knees to turn off the propane tank!
