“Secrets of Christ’s Tomb: Explorer Special” is in fact special and indeed insomuch what is done special. It is a documentary bringing a confluence of a format like that of a story with suspense for which I will not be a spoiler here. Other factors include a fabulous cast of characters from all over the world to lend their specialties to the challenge using the latest in different technologies. This nexus of people blends a harmony of science and religion; not always found in both together. Even the major players are at odds with one another quite a bit in life. Yet necessity being the mother of invention more than suggests everyone had better develop a rapport as a deadline approaches and fascinating discoveries are made not known of let alone seen for centuries. Of course for documenting this they found the best in the world for such an undertaking – National Geographic. Also how pivotal what is found along with a potentially complete paradigm shift makes the grandeur of what is validated more impressive that it’s all happened in our lifetime.

Eminently skippable
Uninteresting documentary about the restoration of some crappy 19th century mosuleum in Jeruselem that is built around a ~350 AD slab of stone (i.e. not a tomb of a supposed biblical jesus).Completely uncritical and uninformative of the history of whatever this was and who ever may have been buried here. They word the conclusion in a way that probably left many unthinking people with the impression that this was a tomb of a biblical Jesus. It wasn't.
