Lasting Fix Setting Powder

I'm 21 yr old college student & makeup junkie. Skin type: Dry & textured. I naturally have deep smile lines & fine lines under & around the outer corners of my eyes. Pros: I've been using this powder for about 2 years on and off. I'm someone who likes to wear a full beat face on the daily. I've tried numerous different powders, always looking for ones that might work better than this, BUT I have to break it, this powder is the best one I've found! I've used the L. Mercier, CoverFx, Cote Airspun extra coverage, etc... and they all perform poorly on my skin. The CoverFx Perfecting powder is good but this Maybelline one is much better. It's VERY finely milled and leaves your skin soft instead of crusty and lifeless, even if you use it all over your face. I use a damp beauty sponge to pack it under my eyes and all over my face. It's very light but does a great job serving its purpose. I do still have some natural oil come through after a few hours (maybe 4 or 5) which I like. I should mention I spray my face with the Evian water spray about twice when I have completed my makeup, so if you're using an actual (matte) setting spray, it might perform differently. Cons: I do wish it came in a bigger tub though. It's marked a bit high in price for the drugstore considered how little product is inside.

I experimented with this on top of my regular Maybelline New York foundation. The results were excellent, and I highly recommend it. The weather here is outrageously humid -- so much so that my makeup looks "melted" after a few hours no matter how much regular powder I use before leaving the house. I hate to keep reapplying powder during the day, because it gives you a dry, caked-on look. I gave myself a very light application of Facestudio Master Fix on top of my regular powder, and I feel that the results were excellent. My face stayed much more fresh looking with no application of additional powder. Very good product at a modest price.

I bought BS MALL Makeup Brushes 14 pcs set in Rose Golden because I wanted a full set for daily makeup. The packaging looks nice and the brushes also look pretty. For the price, I feel it is a good deal because you get many brushes in one box. The brushes are soft on skin and they do not feel rough. Foundation and powder brushes work nicely and blend makeup well. I also like the eye brushes, it helps to apply shadow and blend better. Handles feel light but still okay to hold. So far I did not see big shedding, only maybe 1 or 2 hairs in first use, after that it was fine. I also washed them and they stayed in good shape. They dry normally and the bristles did not become hard. For beginners it is very helpful because you get all needed brushes and you do not need to buy separate. Small downside is they are not super high end quality like very expensive brands. If you are professional makeup artist, maybe you want more heavy and more premium feel. But for normal home use, it works great. Overall I am happy with this set and I will recommend it if you want affordable and complete brush set.

What I hate about products is when its not filled. Dont get me wrong it works great, but if you see everybodies review pics its half way filled(thats speaking lightly). Its already small so just to get that much for almost $10 is a rip to me in my opinion. Overall its a great product I just wish they werent so frugale with making the product

I almost exclusively purchase things based off Amazon reviews... When I was looking for a setting powder (because I had heard they make your foundation last longer), I almost purchased the Coty Airspun loose powder because it has over 3k reviews at an average of 4 stars. I started doing some more digging around, and saw that the Airspun powder has parabens in it. I'm not a wacky, cat-owning health nut or anything, (and apparently there is still some debate about the dangers of parabens) but I'm pretty confident that I don't want to take the risk of applying a paraben-laced powder on my face. So after doing a little more research, I decided to buy this Maybelline setting powder instead because it also had great reviews and has no parabens. Now for my actual review: This powder is awesome! It definitely extends the life of my foundation (L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte, it's awesome try it!), makes my oily face a little less oily, but BEST of all, it makes my foundation look more natural. Once I apply it, my face looks a little more "bare faced" than it did with just the foundation on. I highly recommend this setting powder! I got the translucent.

As a professional adult woman who literally never wears makeup, and struggles when I do, I made a new years resolution this year to start wearing at least basic makeup every day at work. This is the absolute best product I've discovered so far. I hate how my face feels when it's covered in makeup, I hate how my makeup rubs off on other things, and I hate how my mascara always ends up smudging under my eyes. This solves all of those things and more!! It sets your makeup so it's not going anywhere, and it also makes your face feel silky smooth. The price is great and it's easy to use.

This stuff is FABULOUS. I have very acne prone skin (and fairly large pores on my nose and cheeks) and I coat this stuff on and have not had a single breakout. You can't overuse it and it never looks ashy. Been using daily for about 3-4 months. It is smooth, doesn't smell weird like some powders and is a great finish for my liquid BB cream. It hides pores really well and doesnt feel heavy. It looks nice just to brush on a bare face to hide oil and pores as well. The price is great and I highly recommend this to anyone who likes a smooth matte look. Side note: I have freckles and sun damage and I use James Iredales bb cream paired with this and no concealer and my skin actually looks flawless.

Poudre très fine, idéale car n’accentue pas les rides. Elle peut être utilisée pour fixer le fond de teint ou matifie pour éviter de briller et tient très bien. Parfait pour toutes les teintes de peaux car s’adapte à la carnation. La meilleure poudre libre que je connaisse.
