SeaSense800 GPH AUTOMATIC BILGE PUMP

very small and compact. Has 3 wires; Ground, Automatic, Constant. I used it for an Air Conditioner that I built. Due to the power grid where I live we are not allowed to have actual AC units. So I used the pump to circulate ice cold water through a Transmission radiator so it can chill the air as a fan blows air across it. I got the design from Youtube. It pumps just the right amount of water to keep the radiator chilled. only issue with my contraption is amount of condensation that comes off of it. so im still working on a catch basin for all that water lol.

I bought this pump because it has a small footprint and fit in next to boat's drain plug. It was quite reliable for about 5 years until the impeller shaft rusted off (fresh water). I don't think I would use it in a salt water environment.

The actual dimensions are closer to W 2 3/4" x D 3 1/2" x H 5". This does not include the output spout on the back side.

Many times I camp and keep my old boat pulled up on the bank. One stormy night I had to go down in the rain to continually turning on the bilge pump. I decided it was time for a automatic bilge pump. Last spring we had 2 days of heavy rain and the pump worked flawlessly. So far I have never had to worry about the boat during foul weather.

Pump works , but the auto function isn't great . It's warranty is honored as I got replacement after almost a year of service .Would buy again .

This pump was a good bargain. Whether it remains so depends on how long it will last. It replaces a Rule 1100 in an Islander 41' sailboat. It is used as the initial pump to keep the bilge dry. So far, it has worked fine for about 6 months. I gave it three stars due to off brand name, not knowing how long it will last and slightly less robust construction. Overall a good value if it holds up.

had issues with the aluminum boat...had to be vigil on the bilge....well fixed the leaks but also added this pump....had some down pors of rain with out the cover and the pump worked exactly as it should....watched it pump out automatically at about and inch and a half water level...big boat so not concerned with small amount in bottom...and the pump is impressive with the force pushing the water out....tested it in bucket first to see water level at which is required for it to kick in...well worth it

Exellent little pump, used it all year in my boat and it worked like a charm. I leave my boat outside and tied up on my dock all summer long and this provided me protection from when rain water would fill up the boat. I always when dowb to find it all pumped out automaticly.

Bought one and it worked OK but not totally confident in it so wanted to buy a spare. Price had gone up a couple bucks so was waiting for it to come back down. Price just jumped up by 50% ! Don't buy this product, not worth the money. Update - after a few months the float stuck. Wouldn't turn on. Flimsy build, very unreliable product.

Works as intended but take care to mount pump exactly upright on secure bracket etc.!Would not install for Atlantic Crossing or in sailboat, OK for my fishing boat
