The product arrives with a small separation of the veneer at the base. I used wood glue and a clamp to fix it. For the price I would expect better quality.Otherwise the holder works well. I would not move the holder with knives attached as they slide down to the handle but in a stationary arrangement it works OK.

I'm still making up my mind whether this is the best way to store knives, but that doesn't reflect on the quality of this product. Strong magnet holds even my 10" chef's knife. Both sides are usable so it will hold quite a few knives. I even store my kitchen shears on it.

I didn’t like the way knives looked on it. Made it look like there was chaos on my countertop, but if you are into look like that go for it. It’s a sturdy nice product.

Perfect for my space. Holds my six knives & I put knife covers on the ones I seldom use & the magnet holds. Really attractive design.

It’s nice, mine came warn on the edge though due to the package having been crushed. Other than that I’m pleased, strong magnet.

Beautiful, modern aesthetic, works well to hold knives on both sides without worry that it will tip over, and don't have to worry about bacteria building up inside non-cleanable knife slots. Can't ask for anything more! I like that it arrived all assembled - the base appears to be permanently attached to the magnetic block. I read reviews of other magnetic holders that had to be assembled, with varying degrees of success. The only caution is if you have knives longer than 8" they will extend past the top.

I had to put some glue at the bottom the day I received it because of a crack in the wood.The magnets are strong enough to keep my knives on the block but they are not enough strong to keep them in place which causes two times where while I tried to take one of them, my hand touched another knife, and this last one fall of the block. These are not big knives... some Global Japanese knives...To sum up, each time I put my knife on the block, I do that carefully and take the time to see that the knife is stick securely.

We really like this block until we discover a crack on the wood veneer. We cannot return it because it was 7 days passed the return period.
