Puzzling mounts for camera use
I like this little scope. It is thoughtfully designed (I like the locking system to keep the lens focused even when handling it a bit) and it's light weight and does the job I expect when bird watching. But, the included attachment device to place a cell phone camera on the scope is limited in how large a cell phone it can grip. It fit my wife's iPhone with a little struggle to get it stretched out far enough to grip the phone, but once on worked fine. I have a larger phone, and newer models of iPhones are larger, too. I don't think the gripping device can open up enough to fit on the cell phone. And she is looking at a new iPhone which is larger than the one she has now. I'd hate to break the device and I don't see how to open it up any larger than I "forced" it to on her smaller phone. She was looking forward to pictures of some of her views. The little stand that was included looks to be unusable. Another pity.

Good Monocular
I like the range of sight, the view is nice and clear, and it is a good compact size to carry. Seems well made. I took off a star because it would have been better if the case was a little larger so the stand would fit in with the scope.

Get what you pay for.
This is OK for short distances. When viewing thru eye piece there is a ring of shadow around what you are looking at. As far as attaching my phone, FORGET IT!! This does not work and one of the reasons I bought this product. When I attached the phone there was a big gap between the mounting piece and the monocular. It let in to much light as it was not tight against the lense, the photo had a large round gray ring all the way around the photo which made it grainy and unusable It was very awkard to handle, could not balance the monocular and the phone at the same time. I ended up throwing the piece away. For the price, you get what you pay for.

No instructions came with.
No instructions came with. Still don’t know what the iPhone rack is for. Didn’t know what it was...until I went back to the website and read it’s features.

It's Durable
This product is easily held in 1 hand, but comes with a small tripod if needed. As described, it magnifies to 1.5 of the original view. When I tried it, the image I was looking at across the room was in fact about a half larger than with the naked eye. It may be useful for watching television if you can't find your glasses, or maybe looking at bugs for a little more detail. The durability of the outside rubber type texture lets me believe this would actually make a good gift for a child. No small parts to break off or choke on.

SIHEA Monocular Telescope for Adults Kids
I purchased this item to use with cell phone....not a good fit. Too, when it does encompass the lens on the phone all pics are encumbered by a black circular frame...not good!! Ending up giving to kids to play with. It's a grate toy for kids!!

Specs might be wrong, Poor optics, Camera does not work, Bad instructions, Bit of hassle in refund.
Good: (A). The Marketing campaign: I bought this Sihea even though I was skeptical. Got me. (B). The shipping service: The item came exactly when it was suppose to. The Body construction is sturdy might survive a fall. (C): The cleaning cloth was niceNot so Good: (A). The Monocular is suppose to be 12x50 That is 12 power magnification and a 50mm lens. I compared the 50mm lens on this Monocular with two 50 mm lens on binoculars I own and the lens on the monocular is much smaller. I also also used calipers to measure the actual size of the lens and it is about 40mm. (B). I compared the magnification of this monocular with a 10x50 binocular and the magnification of the monocular appears to be much less. I believe that the actual specs on monocular should be 5x or 6x42. (C). The view is clear in the middle but there is a white blur around the edge of the lens and also some rainbow colors. (D). The stand is weak. (E). the camera attachment does not cover the cell phone camera lens partly because a plastic arm is actually a bit bent. (F). The instructions with the device are on a slip of paper and nearly useless. (G). Getting a refund is turning into a bit of a hassle for the money spent so I will probably simply give this as a toy to one of my grandchildren. The monocular I received does looks a bit different from the one shown in the ad so It is possible I was sent the wrong item who knows. But if you are going to buy a monocular you may wish to consider another brand. All statements are my opinions and personal observations no defamation is intended and if evidence showing error is presented I will pass it on.

Great for Bird Watching
The handheld telescope works great for outdoor bird watching. I like the portability and one handed operation, it is much easier to carry around compared to binoculars as well. The magnification is quite far and gives a fairly clear image. The functionality is really simple to use. This is up there in quality compared to name brands. Mount is good quality as well to hold the phone well.Overall, loved the purchase.

Magnification is OK. Optics are not great
Price was good but the old axiom holds true with optics - you get what you pay for. This is a cheap Chinese product. Would not recommend for anything other than casual use.

Don’t buy. I was suckered again.
This did not come as advertised or pictured. There was no tripod or phone holder so unless I grow a third appendage to hold the phone this lens and work the camera this thing is useless to me.
