Previously purchased a CT16G4DFD832A, However couldn't find it again to add more ram, this one here; CT16G4DFRA32A is essentially a newer version, and backwards compatible if you are adding a new ram stick. Thought it's worth mentioning as people tend not to suggest mixing types of ram. These two ones work perfect together.

It was always the best bang-for-buck memory out there. BUT Crucial no longer supply memory to consumers unless you're running a multi-billion dollar AI Datacentre. Its parent company, Micron Technology, officially wound down the Crucial brand for retail buyers, with direct consumer product shipments ending in February 2026. BOO!

Ahhh this brings back memories of yesteryear when people could afford RAM. Happy times!

BROUGHT 4 FOR MY NEW COMPUTER BUILD...

I purchased a single 16GB Dimm to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 3020 with 16GB Ram to 32GB, After installing the Dimm my Inspiron 3020 took a few minutes to identify the new Dimm, it then loaded a Bios screen with notification that the memory had increased, no issues after several days use.

I used these in a refurbished for a friend and was pleasantly surprised the speed is true and you don't need fancy paint and useless heatsinks to have an excellent budget pc.

Had a PC with 16Gig RAM and a spare slot so the upgrade was a no brainer, Just plug this RAM in the spare slot and that's it. No setup required, PC just recognises the upgrade. Just make sure you are getting the correct type for your PC.

Possiedo un pc fisso HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1001NL che è un pre-assemblato difficilmente modificabile o upgradabile. § Dopo molte ricerche su vari forum ho finalmente trovato questa ram che ha lo spesso chip di quella HP che possiedo ed è perfettamente compatibile. Mi è bastato installarla e avviare il pc e l'ha riconosciuta subito! In questi pc in particolare, molto in voga nel periodo covid per il prezzo, non è possibile abilitare l'XMP quindi è inutile prendere RAM per il gaming e questa va benissimo. Presa a 34,80, il prezzo non è male.
