Usual good result
Actually used on a new Q6 as I’m not a steam loco perfectionist it suits me. But decoder as usual works straight out of the box and for the price more than suits my requirements

The media could not be loaded. Pretty good budget decoder. A little on the large size for my steam train installation. And you might want to upgrade the speaker. Its quite large and not the loudest when the locomotive is moving around the layout. If you do this make sure to match the ohms of the speaker you get to the decoder ohms. No problems at all with it except its all a little but much of a squeeze in the steam train so I'm extending it all to fit in the tender. 8/10 I'd say. On a limited function controller ie.1-8, on no.1 function you get the chuff! chuff! In time with the speed. Excellent value for money and easy to install.
