Just received the smart 6000N white, the modes do not light up. Is it faulty and needs replacing?

Black and white version don't show the modes, Amazon has just changed the description, clever. I bought my black on deal so I'm not complaining but it's not a fair move, Braun/Oral-B, not nice. Only white/light blue version shows the modes properly.

I bought this but the charger socket does not fit on a standard UK socket point, should I buy an adaptor for it?

The charger socket fits normally the 2 pin socket point in the bathroom, otherwise you buy a 2 pin 10A adapter for it.
