This was extremely easy to assemble and is light weight/easy to move. I bought this because I didn't want to end up with a cheap wood pressed desk. The metal frame is sturdy and properly made. It will survive as many moves as I need. The surface is like a laminate type coating so I can set my coffee cup right down, no need for coasters. There is nothing positioned poorly below the table to interfere with my feet comfortably resting. For this price point, I feel good about using it as long as its convenient or until I casually find my dream desk, and at that point I'm confident this desk will still be in excellent shape to donate or become a sewing table. I think the overall depth and shelving would actually make it a great sewing table.

This desk is exactly what I wanted! I live in an incredibly small 1 bedroom apartment with my husband and our medium sized dog. There's not a lot of spare room for a big computer desk, let alone two desks. Thankfully, this one fits my style and my room perfectly!I also love that I can change which side I want the shelves on, and the fact that it has the little feet to help protect our floor.Additionally, it was very easy-to-assemble!

Assembly is relative- I didn’t think it was difficult to do by myself, but it was time intensive. The most important part I want to share- I bought it as a cheap deal for a work desk (remote work) since I was using a pop up table. It is a ‘little’ small for that, but manageable. The sitting height was a big thing for me, at 5’9 the pop up left me hunching over and this is kind of perfect height. I can fit a full size monitor and my laptop on it, but to do so I had to take off the side shelf at the top. Still a bit of a tight fit, but definitely manageable. All in all, I’m pretty happy with it. It suits my needs well enough, for the time being. Definite upgrade from what I had and I think it’s pretty darn good bang for the buck.

Took a bit to assemble it because the box came with no instructions but it wasn’t too difficult to figure out by looking at the pictures. I used to pointy nails to put in the shelves (needed a drill for that). The box comes with a screw driver and another metal tool which were enough to build the rest of the desk. Definitely a two person job. Overall it’s sturdy and looks cute!

There was little strings all over the inside of the box and on the pieces of the desk. I didn't realize until I was already down on the floor dusting it with pledge and a paper towel. I didn't expect to need a mask to put together a piece of consumer furniture. I hope I didn't breathe too much of it in. The instructions weren't really instructions, it had a lot of different diagrams that didn't really explain what to do with what. I put a few parts of it on backwards and had to take it apart and reassemble it. Every screw strips at the lightest amount of pressure when screwing them in so have a wipe or something handy to wipe the metal shavings off. came with a small wrench and screwdriver which is helpful. good enough desk I guess. I wouldn't recommend purely because it is unsafe.

easy to put together but the assembly was kind of annoying. it almost felt like the screws weren't right because they'd be fully tightened halfway through, i got through it through and had to pull out a wrench in the end to tighten everything. it's a good sturdy desk, can't complain for the price. but was actually a little bigger than i thought but it fits perfectly

Took my bf about an hour to assemble by himself. I've been working in it for about a month and i gets the job done! I lean on it for 10 hours a day and it's been sturdy so far!

The desk is well made, pretty sturdy, and was really easy to put together. As long as you have a basic understanding of how screws go into a hole, you can get it assembled in around 20-30 minutes. The shelves are well spaced and make for really good additional storage on the side without having to incorporate another piece of furniture. It’s a standard heigh, which is a little tall for me, but with an adjustable height chair it’s perfect. The shelves can also be put on either side (left of right of the desk) so it can be very adaptable for your needs. My only complaint, which is more of just a general observation, is that it came a lot bigger than I thought it would be! The desk face is pretty large, and could easily accommodate two moderately sized monitors. I’m going to use it for additional storage space and maybe some decor, but the value for the product was as aspected and I think it will be a great addition to my room.
