Two and a Half Men: Season 7

The continuing saga of Charlie, Alan, and Jake continues to generate a lot of laughs and funny situations. The season mostly revolves around Charlie's on again off again relationship with his fiancee Chelsea. First he is tempted by his previous fiancee Mia, and then Chelsea is tempted by a lawyer "Who is everything that Charlie isn't". There are also complications in the relationship when Charlie has an affair with Chelsea's best friend). Stacy Keach (who plays Chelsea's father) and John Amos are absolutely hilarious in the series, cast as gay lovers. Alan's adventures are also revolve around the women in his life. His old girlfriend Melissa comes back, and even moves into Charlie's beach pad for a short time. Then Alan has a series of dating disasters, the funniest occurs when he tries out a spray on hair product. He ends up with a new girlfried - a mother of Jakes first male friend in the series. The kid's a brat and the mother is no bargin, but I guess Alan figures beggars can't be choosers. Jake has a few episodes dedicated to him. One in which Charlie gives him really bad advice, that ends his relationship, and another where the Arguing between Charlie and Alan becomes intolerable and embarrasing for him, and he decides he doesn't want to come to Charlie house anymore. The most bizarre episode in this season involves a threesome, where Charlie and Alan get so hammered that they end up waking up in bed together with a girl the had met in the bar the previous night. The flashbacks are disturbingly funny. The same woman shows up later in the series in a different role, as Charlies new wife. Yes! Charlie finally get married, or does he? You don't have to wait for the DVD's, I already have downloaded the entire series (I couldn't wait) although diehard fans may want to wait for them to get some of the extras. The season this year is shorter than usual due to our favorite bad boy's exploits in Aspen. I believe there were two more episodes cancelled because the real life Charlie has some serious woman and alcohol issues. He is a great actor and comedian and I hope someday he can level his ego and get some real help.

Two and a Half Men was really funny when Charlie Sheen was in his role on the sitcom, and Angus Young was also priceless as the young kid. Charlie of course did a terrible thing reciting his own anger at one of the producers. Anybody, technical people or actors, that you definitely do not offend a producer of a show. I half wonder if Charlie and Angus knew that Angus' age would make him not a little kid anymore, and the show would not be nearly as funny, so they made a pact-decision with one of the producers of the TV show. Charlie would be upset, he would be fired from the show, Angus didn't have to be on the show nearly as much, and the show would deal with the outcome of any "shenanigans" that the public might perceive happened. In my opinion maybe, that one of the producers wasn't really mad, Charlie didn't really offend one of the producers, and the show has gone on regardless of how Charlie's' character would be "eliminated" from the cast. I have not liked the show since. It's not nearly close to being funny anymore, which is probably what the producers, Angus, and Charlie knew it would be, and they decided to make a "disaster" of Charlie's character going away, dying as it was made.

His current show Anger Management was never even in the shadow of Two and A Half. But Sheen has always been Sheen, even in Pretty In Pink. When he left, the show may have continued but it became a farce with Ashton. Charlie was credible, and likable, and that's who the show was written for. Yes, he was a complete jerk, but his character in this role was unsurpassed. I still love every episode and never get tired of watching them in reruns. Finally decided to collect the series. Personally, I am a 60 year old psychologist, with a great family, and strong values, but Charlie is always a guaranteed laugh and a reprieve. Ashton is still just a goofy punk kid, no matter how you try to wrap him.

Anyone who watches Two and a Half Men owns or is in the process of collecting the series DVDs... guaranteed! And if you're not familiar with the series, then shame on you. Amazon has all seasons...guaranteed! At Amazon, you'll find each season (DVD) interactive menu, multi language plus bonus material... the best part??...Commercial FREE. I can't believe I got the season at such low cost, and Amazon is the only place offering a deal for 3 seasons for about $40! I love Charlie, Alan, Berta, .....and all the funny situations they ha e to get out of.

Zur Serie muss ich wohl nichts mehr sagen! Sie ist und bleibt einfach super, obwohl sie jeden tag im tv und auf amazon prime zu sehen ist und zum x ten mal gesehen! Gilt zumindest für staffel 1-8 mit Charlie! Dennoch dachte ich mir die serie ist so gut und immer wieder witzig, zwischenzeitig mal pause, da dürfte sie eigendlich gar nicht in meiner Film / Figurensammlung nicht fehlen! Habe gerade staffel 1-6 im super Neuzustand bekommen für wirklich wenig Geld da musste ich mir staffel 7 für 63 cent direkt bei amazon dazu bestellen! Sie ist ebenfalls im super Zustand und heute dürfte die achte Staffel heute ankommen für einen Euro bei Amazon! Schneller Versand perfekter Zustand bin mehr als zufrieden und habe alle Charlie Staffeln in meiner Sammlung 😊 die restlichen überleg ich mir noch, aber auch nur weil die ersten paar Folgen ok sind und halt wegen der letzten Doppelfolge!

Was hab ich mich anfangs gesträubt...Die Serie wollte einfach nicht bei mir zünden, als ich die ersten Folgen auf Kabel 1 sah.Irgendwie störte mich das ganze Zusammenspiel.Glücklicherweise wurde ich eines Besseren belehrt.Da die Serie auch auf dem Schweizer Sender SF2 ausgestrahlt wird/wurde, konnte ich sie mir auf Original-Ton und von der ersten Episode aus anschauen und was soll ich sagen,ab das war ich begeistert.Zweifellos ist die Serie mehr als nur selten Geschmacklos, sexistisch und was weiß ich nicht alles, doch ist dies oft die oberflächliche Verpackung, für tiefere Gefühle, die die Protagonisten meist einfach nicht ausdrücken können, aufgrund ihrer verschrobenen Art, oder den Komplexen, meist ausgelöst durch eine gewisse Mutter.Bild und Ton sind in guter Qualität und ich empfehle wirklich jedem die Scheiben auf Englisch durchlaufen zu lassen. Auch wenn die Synchro gut ist, ist es doch in keinster Weise ein Vergleich zu der Spritzigkeit und dem Witz des Originals. Leider oft versäumen es die Deutschen, Witze zu übersetzen, die wirklich hätten besser rübergebracht werden müssen, sodass einige Szenen ihren kompletten Sinn verlieren. Wenn man dann einige Teile noch einmal mit Englischem Ton anschaut, fühlt man sich nicht nur einmal genötigt vor Entsetzen an die Birne zu fassen.Nichtsdesto trotz ein Muss für Jeden, der geniale und bitterböse Gags mag. Einzigen Abzug gibt es für die spärlichen Specials. Da können sich die Macher mal ein Beispiel an Scrubs nehmen, bei denen die DVDs wirklich voll mit sehr gutem Zusatzmaterial sind.Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Two and a Half Men. What can I say? It is really funny an excellent series to watch!. I find that this season wasn't the best, still funny but I wasn't to crazy for it. Charlie is still up to his no good ways and Alan is still as funny as ever. Jakes character is getting be better and better. I am ver satisfied though. When I am feeling down it definitely cheers me up (the series in general). Season 7 + 8 are "meh"..
