Boots
Great boots. I had been wearing some wolverines which I bought I looked for a replacement for my old Justins and got frustrated when the heels came loose after less than a year so I started looking for Justins again. . I wanted the same model as my old Justins but they have been discontinued. They were like these but a lighter color. Many of the boots nowadays have a square toe which I do not like or some that claim to have a round toe are actually semi -pointy. These are the right style for me. I ordered a 10. They fit when I tried them on but after walking in them they seem a bit big. By then I had already slathered them with Sno Seal so decided to keep them and wear thicker socks.

Justin boot 4445
These justin model 4445 boots were a replacement for my previous pair. My old pair model 4767 lasted me 12 yrs. fantastic boots. These seem to b more comfortable right out of the box. Justin has a large variety of dif models that they don't do a good job of explaining the difference, your left to figure it out on your own. Mostly difference in colors. The leather on these new boots are softer than my orig pair. Hopefully they don't scuff to bad. Time will tell. They are super comfortable and have not needed any break in time. I bought the same size as my old pair and it's a perfect match. Quality is excellent. Loved the old pair just thought I would try the new improved model, so far I'm very pleased.

Great boot - Picture is off
The TAN GOUCHO is actually a bit darker then this. I read on the Justin Boots website, their product can run large for these boots. They recommended buying a full size smaller then your shoe size, I opted for a .5 size smaller and the fit is tight but comfortable where it should be. Still need to continue breaking them in, but I am very happy with my boots. MADE IN THE U.S.A.

Please do not order these online
Please find a retailer to try these boots before you consider purchasing and look closely at the boots and the build of the boot. Unfortunately there wasn’t a retailer in my area that carried them so I purchased them online from the boot barn. The night I received them I tried them on briefly in my living room and they seemed comfortable enough. The next morning I wore them to work and within a couple of hours my feet were hurting badly. Upon taking a closer look at the boots as the day progressed I noticed that the leather was bulging out over the sides of the soles and basically my foot was resting on the bulging leather and not the support of the sole.Upon getting back home I compared them to other work boots I have that are the same size and noticed that the Justin soles are at least a half an inch narrower than the other brands. It’s like they put a narrow sole on a wide boot. Maybe they use the same sole for all of their boots but it sure makes them un-wearable.Now of course boot barn will not take them back and neither will Justin because they have been “worn”. Justin’s response was that all of their boots are thoroughly inspected but if I thought I had a bad product send it back to them and they would inspect them again. If they were found to be up to standard they would be shipped back to me. Now please explain to me why I would spend at least another $20-$25.00 on shipping after I have already spent $170.00 on a pair of un-wearable boots.I would suggest that if you wear a wide size or even a regular that you beware of the small sole on the Justin boots. They seem more suited to narrow sizes. Needless to say I am disappointed with Justin and chalk this up as a $170.00 loss and move on but I will never buy from them again and I caution others to beware.

Don’t waste your money.
I found that they are not really oil resistant soles as I work around deli equipment and the soles are slippery. I had to purchase inserts because I found that the boots hurt my feet after a few hours. On one particular shift I developed a blister on top of my left big toe, so now I have to wear a bandage on that toe. I invested in excellent socks to help but I’m calling it quits and have ordered Thorogood boots which is what I should have done in the first place. A long time ago Justin put together a great American made boot however something has changed... Sad

the reps at Amazon were great. I suppose I should have tried breaking them ...
So a couple months back I bought an 11.5 2E J-Max steel toe boots...They were almost right on the money, except, my little toes (specifically my right little toe)were somewhat pinched.I returned them, and as expected, the reps at Amazon were great. I suppose I should have tried breaking them in. Then again, having been wearing boots since five years old, I know that steel toe boots tend to be a bit more snug than non steel toed boots. I think I shall order them again and just say hell with it, if they do not fit as needed after break in, I will sell them. The color was not as expected... In a good way. : ) The leather is thicker than the Gulf War era combat boots I currently wear and they are just an overall solid, American made boot.Had I known sooner, that a local western wear provider, did widening I would have not returned them

Might need to Order 1/2 size smaller than you need
These boots are 1/2 size larger than my last pair of Justin steel toe work boots. They are of good quality. The oil resistant souls are thick and should last a long time. The only problem I had was they mailed them "IN PERSON SIGNATURE REQUIRED" and I wound up taking a day off work to receive them. My Postman would not leave them at my home the first two days even though I had signed the yellow attempted delivery notice.

Comfortable and long lasting boot
Great boot, best one Ive wore yet. They did run large at first like everyone says but I think Justin has fixed this, this is my third pair and only the first pair I bought was a little oversized. I work in oilfield construction and on my feet 8-14 hours a day and these are the most comfortable and long lasting boots Ive owned. I have 3 pair now but still wear my first pair I bought to work everyday. Just caught these on sale and couldnt pass them up so added another pair to the collection.
