Do yourself a favor and get these
Having previously borrowed trekking poles from a friend, I knew that these would be very helpful on the trails I was planning to hike. But I pulled them out of the package and went to use them right away without reading instructions. Well, they kept collapsing on me. What I needed to do was tighten the nuts on the clips so that the clips would hold and keep the telescoped poles from collapsing. I struggled on the trail until I pulled out my car key and used the tip as a screwdriver to tighten the nuts. One good tightening and I was good for the rest of the trip. Moral of the story: read directions! But in all seriousness, I had to rely heavily on these poles and they served me very well on the trail. They gave me added strength and stability going up and down over rocks, boulders, stairs, and inclines. The poles are lightweight, easy to use, and they come in a travel pouch with all of the extra tips. Trekking poles are a great tool that will enhance your hiking experience, and this is a quality set at a very good price.

You need these!
I was hesitant to use trekking poles at first. Once I decided to give them a try, I looked for review videos on YouTube and a lot of videos mentioned these specific poles. I had never heard of them before but after watching the reviews, I decided to give them a try and I'm so glad I did. They make a huge difference in my hiking experience. It was nice to complete a hike without neck, shoulder, or knee pain. I honestly didn't even feel my backpack on my back when using these. I also felt like I could enjoy the sights more and not stare at the ground watching every step. These poles helped me to feel very balanced. The price is great. The poles feel very well made, are easy to adjust, and come with multiple attachments and a nice storage bag. Very happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying more in the future. These would be amazing gifts for anyone that likes to hike or do much walking outdoors.

Good trekking poles
These are good trekking poles, but I do not like them as well as the pair that I already had. You want your poles to hold tight and not slip when you need them, but we couldn't get them tight enough to be 100% reliable. It was probably user error, but still, if the user can't get the product to work, that's a problem. They are a nice weight and are comfortable to use as long as they don't collapse. I bought them as an extra set for guests we were bringing on our hike and they were helpful to that guest and will serve me well as a back-up set.

From Skeptic to Believer โ These Saved My Knees on a 16-Mile Double Summit
These bad boys came in clutch at the 11th hour for a 16.6 mile double summit hike in the Huachuca Mountains. I honestly wasnโt a hiking pole person before this, but after nearly 5,000 feet of climbing and descending, Iโm officially converted. They saved my knees on the descents, helped with stability on technical sections, and probably made the difference between surviving the hike and finishing strong. Lightweight, easy to adjust, and worth every penny. Absolutely coming with me on every mountain hike from now on.

As good as poles 5x the price
My husband and I just got into hiking. He bought a $145 set of poles. I bought these. One of us is a genius (itโs not him). Our poles are essentially undistinguishable. These poles have thus far (about 60 miles) been reliable, rugged and awesome. My first hike, the latches slipped, they just required that I finger tighten them, theyโve been perfect since. I highly recommend these.

Easy to adjust and do not slide down like some others do
I hike a lot of miles on rocky and gravelly mountain trails so am on my 3rd pair of these over the past 6 years, which is a-okay! Decomposed granite does eventually wear down the tips but I think they last very well considering the price. And the thumb screw tightening of the levers to adjust them makes them the best poles going in my opinion. Easy and quick to lengthen for steep downhills and they donโt slip like the types that screw to tighten.

easy to use
This is the third set of walking sticks that I have ordered, the second from this company. I started nordic walking & recently my husband joined me. These walking sticks are really easy to adjust, lightweight, well made. I like that they have extra types of shoes sot he poles can be used for hiking, walking in the snow, etc. My husband uses one set, & I have another for when I travel. Highly recommend!!!

great quality
for the price compared to other big name brands, these are excellent. They're great quality, look good, have many attachments for different terrains (snow, mud, rocks, sand...) have their own bag, cork handles, easily adjustable and very sturdy when locked, the wrist straps are comfortable too. They have it all. I got some expensive BD trekking poles and I find myself using these more. Easy 5 stars.

Tested on the West Coast Trail , BC
Bought these poles a couple months before my 8 day hike on the West Coast Trail in BC, they took me through some of the toughest terrain I've ever hiked through and survived whatever I threw at them. I'm a tall person with a larger build and had a 40 to 45 lbs pack on, so the poles supported me fine with all that weight. They saved my life a few times as I used them to keep from tumbling down a steep edge. Great product! I managed to also get them wedged in roots or boardwalk and they flexed as I got stuck in mid step, never warped or bent. I have a bit of sand in them now so they are a bit harder to slide out to desired height, but I think you can slip the sections out and wash them so they work smoothly.
