Always good to help brighten up whites. Will not cover up heavy stains, but will make yellowed whites bright again. This has been an old standby product and it's quality is as advertised.

This really makes whites white. My grandmother told me about this but haven't tried it till now. Highly recommended. It really works.

This product works really well for whitening clothes, and you only need a very small amount. It lasts a long time, which makes it very economical. The results are noticeable, and the quality is great. For the price, it’s definitely worth it.

4 stars only because the bottle is kind of annoying to pour the product out of. Sometimes when I tilt to pour it ends up running down my wall. That said, the blueing agent does work to whiten my whites! Husbands dress shirts were starting to grey and this brought life back into them. This comes as a two pack, which should last you quite a while. We have a front load washer and just add a bit to the detergent cup. You can also presoak whites, but make sure you mix the water first and then add the fabrics or you could end up staining your whites with blue streaks. I did the presoak when I first started using it, just in my sink. But I just add a little to my loads now and it seems to do the trick. Also so great for keeping white sheets the bright white.

Definitely recommend adding blueing to you whites laundry. Follow directions, you don't want to add directly to fabric from bottle. Just gives you a whiter white.

Be very careful w this product. It turns things blue permanently. It’s concentrated. It’ll stain your sink and hands too. Before you add it to the wash you MUST dilute it. Literally only use a cap full. The bottle leaks once it’s opened too causing stain. Powerful stuff.

When your black-and-white stripped/polka dot/floral-silhouette shirts start to look worn-out and tired because the white is no longer white, but you can't use bleach, use this instead. I was a little nervous and thus, very careful when I first tried it, fearing some gnarly blue stains. But after I was able to get it out of a pastel-pink shirt that it had dried on, I realized that this stuff is practically fool-proof and fell in love. Also, a little goes a long way, but not quite as far as you would expect it to. This means that you should def dillute it before it touches any fabric, but you may also need to use a lot (or at least more than you originally think is necessary) to get your whites that really bright-white. I wish I had bought it sooner. When I gave the second bottle to my grandmother she was stoked and told me she had heard about this stuff when she was growing up, but never got the chance to use it. So those used-to-be-white towels and linen that are a dingy yellow no matter how many times you bleach them, are a crisp white after using this.

Great product for whitening clothes, though I actually bought it to refill my fountain pens. This particular recipe makes great ink!

I absolutely love this product. It's awesome because you don't have to use bleach with harsh chemicals. You only need 1/4 teaspoon for a large laundry load. You have to mix it with cold water I believe 410ml of water and shake it up. My towels are so white with first use. Same as my white clothing came clean like brand new. It's not expensive. I will never use bleach again.
