small quantity but seemingly good quality
this is a very expensive way to buy soil and I wouldn't recommend it unless you have, like, a single plant. but I bought it for part of a re-potting gift set for someone who only has a single plant, and it was perfect!

Wonderful Planting Mix!
I used this planting mix to put some of my rose cuttings in. I now have 3 new rose plants! It is a very nice mix!

Easy to work with
It seemed that when I received it that there wasn't a lot inside the bag... But, it had more in it than I thought. I like using this on my plants. Makes them look nice and clean. Quick shipping too.

Good
My fern came back to life with the new soil and surviving winter in my basementIt’s great because I didn’t want to spend the money to make my own soil blend … honestly it would of cost the same as this buying everything separately

THIS IS THE BEST
The media could not be loaded. I have never had a green thumb and this little plant has truly taken off with this potting soil. It’s gotten even bigger than the photo.Definitely recommend this

Not great drainage
Just not very impressed that I have to aerate the soil before water will go through.

My Money Tree Loves This Stuff
I’m one of those guys who has killed every plant given him. I can’t even keep succulents alive. So when my wife gave me a money tree for my office to celebrate a successful project, I was determined to change my ways. The money tree arrived surrounded by peat whose main purposes was to be lightweight to reduce shipping costs. The first time I watered, most went straight through and out the bottom of the cheap container. So I ordered a self-watering pot (I cannot judge when to water things on top of just forgetting to water) and began to look for soil. There were certainly several recommendations for soil mixes online. But to buy charcoal, coco husks, compost and peat was way more than I was willing to spend to re-pot one plant. This soil seemed to have a good mixture of the most important things, so it’s what I chose. It’s a choice I’m very happy with. The re-potting went well (note: a larger tree would likely need multiple bags) and my money tree is thriving. The leaves are green and buoyant, and new leaves are sprouting like crazy. My money tree loves this stuff, and so do I.
