Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation 30ml. # 5 (Light Beige)

I saw no difference between this foundation and one you would buy at Walmart, etc. Very disappointed considering how much it cost.

Overrated for the price... not great coverage, streaky, does not blend nice.

It was way to light for me

I have been wearing this for a few years now, I am a huge fan of the Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. If you read any beauty magazines, you will see this product routinely being featured on various big name publications. Several things about this product I'd like to highlight:1) It provides medium coverage, but it looks sheer if you blend it well. By medium coverage, I mean it will cover redness and minimize pores, but it will not hide dark circles or any pimples...you will need a concealer for that. You can layer it if you need to, to increase the coverage.2) It provides a good base for everything else- concealer, blush, highlight, bronzer, powder...they all stay on because this water based foundation stays on your skin and provides good "grip"3) It doesn't feel like you have makeup on. It's how modern luxury foundations are these days, you don't feel cakey at all and it doesn't feel like you have a layer of paint on your face. In fact, it feels like nothing at all.4) The whole thing about the dewy glow is true. Really, go to the department store and test it for yourself!5) I wear this when I work out and it stays on...with the exception of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. But that's because my face is rubbing on cloth and everyone is so sweaty. It will stay on for runs, spinning, weight lifting as long as you don't wipe your face with a towel. Just gently pat if you need to wipe sweat off. I have worn this to the pool and for gently lounging, it stays on pretty well. Mind you, this is not waterproof paint...it's going to wash off if you go swimming.6) Sometimes I go to bed without taking this off, but I have never once had a breakout or skin problems due to not washing this off. I have had bad experience with other foundations but not this.7) I've tried applying with my fingers and with a brush, and have gotten amazing results both ways.I solidly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good foundation to use everyday. I would maybe shop around at department stores and big box makeup stores, because prices on here seem too high.
