The Farmers has all the basic features of the M8 sawmill, so it is highly mobile, fun and easy to operate, and makes perfect lumber from small and medium sized logs. These sawmills use a high horsepower chainsaw (90cc or larger) . The specialized ripping chain makes a surprisingly smooth surface, unlike standard saw chain. Unlike most chainsaw mills, the Logosol Farmers M8 sawmill allows you to cut lumber in a comfortable standing position, with little effort as compared to other mills. The sawmill kit is sold without a chainsaw, bar and chain. You can use any larger size chainsaw, but it is recommended that a (90cc+) chainsaw is used. We recommend the Husqvarna 390 XP or 395 XP. You can use longer guide bars but they tend to hang down and affect the sawmill accuracy. M8 sawmill will not fit a Husqvarna 3120 XP or Stihl 088/MS 880 without some mounting modifications.
