Spotty Indoor Potty Pad, House Training Pet Puppy Dog Artificial Grass Turf Pee Mat

5 month old Bichon took to it within a day. Took the pad and rubbed it outside on the grass on both sides for a few seconds and just gave the dog time to see we weren't taking him outside. Went to take a shower and came back to find he had pooped on the pad. Peed on training pads I laid down around it to catch any misses, but was peeing right on it the day after that. Positive reinforcement with freeze dried salmon treats. Lots of "good boy" followed by salmon treat I have ready to go. Hard to keep Bichons clean when they go outside when grass is humid or wet from rain. This beats the heat and simplifies things long term.

I just opened this it is fantastic. I have 2 puppies who have been trained on other artificial grass. They all have grass blades. Then the try and pull the grass out. Also, what happens poo gets stuck in the blades. This design keeps that from happening. My pups love their new potty. The potty pads fit directly underneath for a perfect collection of the urine.My only suggestion is the have some. Type of clip to keep the grass down. My pups want to pull the fake grass up. I also like you can get the clothes for clean up.

We had the original Spotty Training place but our snap in trays had finally died. We bought this as the replacement. The grass is better than the original and works great. Our two dogs use it so much that we are saving money on our pee mats. We bought really big ones that are super absorbent from Fosters and Smith. We just cut one mat in half and put a full mat on the opposite side. This means we get more time in between changing out the mats. The original mats aren't bad but we're just used to thicker ones that can stay down longer. We rinse the grass out and the trays and put it right back down. We just recently bought the spare grass so we can rinse and switch them out easier. Oh, this grass doesn't smell up a storm like the fake plush grasses that are out there. We'd bleach those but they would still stink. This one doesn't have that issue. We did use a puppy trainer spray initially for the new dog to get used to it and now within two months this is the favorite mat used by both our dogs. Poop is easy to pick up and just put down the toilet. We definitely will buy and replace this product. I'd recommend KOE spray to get rid of any smell if you seem to sense anything. It's great for knocking out the scent left by accidents and had helped us in cleaning the trays and mats.

We got a puppy (miniature wire haired dachshund) we tried potty pads day one but she liked to rip them up so we decided to bring her out every 30 mins and she caught on pretty quickly to going potty outside. Then it rained....and the only place she would go potty was inside. At that point I started looking for another option maybe something to put on the deck away from the wind in rain so the little puppers will go outside when the weather isn't pleasant (wind, rain, snow). Which happens often because we live in MN.So we bought the potty system. We actually bought the potty system plus an extra pad (which was on accident as I didn't think one came with the tray...one cldoes come with the tray). My thoughts about this puppy potty pad thingy:-The potty tray is pretty cool it has two sides that come together and there is a potty pad protector (plastic grid) that sits on top so the pee doesnt go all over the pups feet.-The grass pad looks nothing like grass and feels like a rubbery squishy AstroTurf type green pad. The plastic tray had the green pad zip-tied to it which kept the one side in place but the other side is not connected and is now chewed up in the corner. It would have been nice to have some sort of clip or strap or something on all four corners to keep it attached to the plastic tray.- It is a decent size if you have a puppy or a smaller dog.I am really bummed that our pup doesn't like it! We are going to keep it just because I want to try it when it is raining or snowing to see how she does with it. I will update review then. I would definitely give it a shot and see how your pup likes it as I think it is a good system, it looks nice (not in a cardboard box), and other reviews say it worked for their pup. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the next storm we have she will use it.

I have used the spotty potty for 2yrs. I needed new "grass" so I got the whole unit. the quality is much better then my first one. my only problem is the "grasses" are very different, my dog wouldn't go any where near it! it has taken me since I got it to slowly remove 1 square at a time of old "grass" so she can get used the feeling of the new "grass". It isn't the co. fault, I had written spotty potty asking to improve the grass I'm so glad they did! my dog uses this product full time. well worth every penny. the potty is larger then other indoor products I've seen. easy to clean and maintain, never have to worry if you"ll get home in time. the spotty is always there. Thank You!!

This has been useful to keep in the pen/enclosure for puppy training. It’s quite big for a small dog, but it can actually be two separate potty pads if you’re willing to cut the grass substrate in half. Would work well for a medium-large dog at full size.

I love the non-tracking properties of this Nat which means my dogs don’t spread urine all over the house with their paws. Easy to clean . Love it!

I used to buy for 200$ of fresh grass per month. It was heavy to carry and hard to dispose without forgetting the price. I don’t like “false” long grass as it a mess to clean, without mentioning the ones with a pan under. Bringing it inside to wash it was terrible. My dogs immediately got used to this one. Easy to clean as you just have to change the pee pad. I just put the fake grass for a quick wash in the washing machine and voila!!!
