The plastic ones leave a line down your finger where the gap is and the metal ones rub your hand, the metal ones do the job and have good velcro on.

After my teenage disabled son nearly took my finger ends off slamming a door on them, I was worried how I could manage everything, ok lucky ends still onBut first ordered sports bandage but soon wondered if you could get something like a splint. Saw these could get them same day - carers don't access to NHS as you may think .. so in afternoon they arrived.So used both types as one finger isn't as bad as the others. But means I can still if I need to use the fingers, ok they have velcro all round, means easy on and off and helps with swelling or not. They have air vents, so the fingers breathe. The metal ones are comfy - I am very fragile on uncomfortable these days. Means I can still do some things, ok not washing the pots, or handling chicken etc. It's common sense. Nice colour, may not last but sure is nice to have the fingers in them, as damaged as they are, I love these. And thank you also Amazon for same day delivery, you saved us from totally disaster

I wear them during the night and they keep my fingers straight while sleeping.

I cant give a personal review as theses were required by my wife.However the results can not go unnoticed. Obviously uncomfortable because of the nature of requirements however my wife's finger joint is now less painful and crooked

I used these for support for my fingers when they painful and clicking.. . I wasn’t happy with the way that the blue plastic started to peel away from the metal.. I also was not happy with the Velcro fastening as it caught on any fabric that I used. It’s so frustrating, you need to sort this out for me to be able to increase my score

I purchased these for mallet finger and the splint from the hospital was uncomfortable, 5 different sizes all with velcro fastening so no faffing around with medical tape

Good idea but the velcro lasted about 2 hours at the first day when I've used it and it kept falling off of my finger. Now I have to use bandage to keep it in place. Too much money for something what not even last two hours. The delivery was super fast.

These came in handy when my daughter broke her finger. The wraps they gave her at the hospital gave her no relief atall, she was very pleased with these
