Great book! Mine had assembling error.
The media could not be loaded. I loved the story itself and the concept but the book I received was defective. In the middle of the book was a bunch of pages from a voice lessons book. I was disappointed that I didn’t have a cute well put together book to read to my kindergarten class on the first day of school. While I did still read it, it would have been great to not have to skip a bunch of pages in the middle.

Illustration of kids with no masks
Disappointed. Nice idea but the children in the illustrations aren’t always wearing masks. It’s not realistic to what the children need.

Perfect start to the year!
Mom and teacher here- love the rhymes and simple language to help kids understand our new normal. Great for daycare teachers and school teachers to kick off the school year. Even better- follow BigGuavaBooks for more teaching ideas/activities!Love the illustrations too!

Very wordy
I looked forward to reading this at the beginning of the year with my kindergartners. However, the book is way too wordy and would have to be read one page at a time per day.

BUY THIS BOOK ASAP!
This book is such a great tool for parents and/or teachers who have to talk about this difficult time with their children. It is a fun way to learn how to keep safe in school and why it's so important. I loved how relatable she made it for kids. My son really liked how it mentioned ninjas and pirates treasure!

Imposter
This book looks like it is for small children when you look at the cover and the illustrations. Then when you read and read and read some more, I found this book is meant for a second or Third grader. It could not be read in one sitting to either grade. There are to many words. It is a great idea but the words belong with a more mature child. The illustration s Belong in the First grade, as the children in the story is written about.

Awesome, great book!
Great clear message that can assist our little ones in this upcoming school year. I see this book assisting teachers and parents pass on safety tactics in an effort of keeping our kids safe. I hope to see more books like this. Remember only you can prevent forest fires.

Excellent book for modeling safe behaviors
Absolutely loved this book! Perfect to use as a read aloud during eLearning week, prior to our first week of Brick and Mortar school openings. Thank you so much for taking your precious time to author this great piece of literature!

It’s Okay.
Don’t judge a book by its cover... this looks like a great book for young primary / elementary students but it is way to wordy. It would maybe be okay in grades 2 and 3, but the pictures give it a much younger feel. Overall, the message is good and relevant but not my favourite book on the topic.

Not a fan of the writing
Wasn't a fan of the writing. Feels like I am reading a textbook to my kids. Too long winded and not very fun for younger kids, although the illustrations lead you to believe this is targeted at them.

Accurate
Great book! Very age appropriate (grade 2/3) and accurate. Students asked for it to be read again.
