Mohawk Color Copy 98 Paper and Cover Stock, 98 Bright, 28 lb Bond Weight, 8.5 x 11, Bright White, 500/Ream

I am very picky about my paper. I have looked a long time to find a paper that I like, and this is the best I found. It is slightly heavier than normal paper, and has a glossy, waxy, almost plastic-coated feel that makes it seem very high quality. It works well with ink-jet printers. I appreciate the free shipping with Amazon, since a ream of paper is heavy and shipping could get expensive. I highly recommend this if you want a good, fancy quality paper at a low price. I use this for my good printing and have a cheaper quality paper for my quick, one-off and throw away printing.

I can't believe that I haven't written a review on this before. I have ordered it several times if you are into paper like I am you're well aware that there are different weights this is a level above copy paper without being too expensive. This paper has a great almost a soft gloss finish great bright white and it's an excellent copy paper. It's also good for flyers invites it's a step above regular copy paper but not is thick and heavy as photo paper prints photos beautifully however.

An excellent paper for everyday printer use with a good hand-feel. It has a much smoother finish than standard copy paper and it is thick enough to print both sides without showing through. It is only 98 brightness which is not ultra bright but fine for my uses. It is #28 (28 pounds per basis ream {500 sheets of 17" X 22" uncut sheets}) and this noticeably heavier than the standard #24 pound paper. No problems with feeding or inks on my ink jet printer.

I make my own 5.5x8.5 planner inserts, and was looking for paper that I could print doubled sided on without it being super see through. I didn't want to use cardstock because it's thick and would make my planner bulkier and heaver. Imagine 100+ pages of cardstock! I searched on google, and many folks suggested 32lb, but I had a difficult time finding 32lb paper that was affordable and could be shipped in a timely manner (through amazon prime). I mean, if I'm going to have to replenish my paper stock everytime I run out, I don't want to spend about $20 on paper and have to wait for daaaays for it to come. I mean, that's why I shell out the money for amazon prime every year!The paper itself is a nice bright white. I use it with a Canon PIXMA MG5320 inkjet printer. You can print on it double sided for the most part without it being see through (much better than regular printer paper). I have no problems with double sided text documents and my planner inserts. It's also smooth and very pleasant to write on! When I make planners for friends as gifts, they ask where I buy my paper because it is nicer than regular printer paper (which is usually pretty thin and not that fun to write on at all). Overall, I would buy this paper again! In fact, I'm only writing this review because I'm running low on paper, needed to buy more, and then remembered that I never wrote a review.

I purchased this paper because the warm white paper I have been using is no longer available on Amazon. This is white, 28 lb paper that is not blinding white which I do not want anyway. I compared images printed on both papers and the Mohawk paper prints colors just a little better than the other paper. I'm very pleased and will be using this paper for my small books in the future.

I have been an avid fan of Mohawk's 28lb for over a decade. It is an exceptional quality paper holds color very well and feels nice in the hand. But every time I've ordered it off of Amazon, the outer paper wrapper is almost always torn and the ream comes with some damage. Most of the paper is typically salvageable, but its a real shame to loose so much paper each time I do a re-order. Better packaging or shipping would make this an easy 5-star product.

This paper is heavy, glossy, and bright. I've used this for a few years now, as I love paper product luxuries. It feels almost a little indulgent to use as daily writing paper. I also enjoy it for calligraphy and my inks do not bleed. I do find it ex*pen*sive! But, I have yet to find another similar quality, recycled, product sold by the single ream. If I had the storage space, I certainly would opt for a comparable product sold by the case at a better price.I thought of taking off one star due to high price. Usually, high price reflects greed at the top and low payed workers at the bottom. But, sometimes, ethical companies charge steeper prices because they make good choices that raise production costs. I'll hold off as I haven't researched Mohawk's corporate and employee ethics yet.
