Amazing saw except the miter gauge.
After a lot of research, I found that this was the best saw for me in my price range that would allow growth with additional capability. I had been warned in some of that research that the miter gauge is a weak point. That turned out to be true. It is only 12" long and has a very small surface. Cross cutting a 3/4" 30"x12" board turned out to be more than I was comfortable with the included miter gauge as it was hard to handle. So I am replacing that with a better one before completing that project. (currently waiting for it). When cross cutting small trim pieces, that was far more tolerable. The fence, adjust ability, ... all worked extremely well. I went through the setup and checked all alignments. It came from the factory perfectly aligned everywhere. Rip cuts that fit on this are a joy compared to my having tried to use a circular saw and straight edge before getting this. From the photos, you might think stability would be an issue. Stability isn't an issue at all. That was proven out when I found I was comfortable ripping 23/32" 4x8 sheets of plywood on this by myself. It is a massive step up from the circular saw I had been trying to use. Saved me from having to buy a track saw. A track saw would still be required if your rip is over the approximately 25" max rip capacity. With a vacuum attached, sawdust is not an issue at all with only a tiny amount of saw dust left on the surface after a day of cutting. Instructions are great. I needed an education since it has been 45 years since my wood shop classes and working with my Dad on his table saw. One concern is if you read the instructions, they state that the kerf of the blade that you use must be .1" or greater to be compatible with the riving knife and prevent kickback. However, most of the blades I found were under that. I ended up going with one that was .098" and that has been cutting like a dream without issue. If you order this saw, I would recommend you order a better miter gauge if you don't have one. Otherwise you will have downtime while you wait for the better miter gauge. At the time of writing this, I have not used the advanced features like bevels, miters, dado, or rabbits. In short, I would buy this again. Just know you will need to additionally have: - better saw blades - dust collection - better miter gauge

Impressive and versatile for a novice woodworker :-)
The resolution to my woodworking hobby! A table saw is sooooooo versatile. The reason I bought the Skil table saw is for the Rack and Pinion Fence rails ensuring fence stays parallel to blade, micro adjustment capability, the built-in foldable stand/legs, durability, and lastly pricing. Table length 25", rip capacity is 25.5" (length) and 24" wide, blade capacity is 10" and can be installed 8" dado blade set (though I have not tried this because I don't have a dado blade yet). Though it has a dust port elbow, having a container is a little help, saw dust is inevitable so I am working on a shop-vac to minimize the spread of it. I never keep the factory blades, my go to carbide are Diablo blades. Disclaimer: I am a woodworking novice, so for me this table saw is enough for the things I do in the house.

Fantastic Table Saw for the price
I was shopping around for the best table saw with the budget I had at the end of last year. This particular table saw had a good rating for a budget table. It is worth mentioning that this is the first table saw that I have purchased and used. This was priced at $279 at the time of order. Even at the current price of $329 this is still a good buy. Initially I was not expecting too much out of this table but I have been very impressed with it. The legs are very sturdy and there is a way to get the table level on the ground with the feature of the foot clamp at the bottom of one of the legs as shown in my picture. This table comes with a 10" 24T blade so this can be used right out of the box. Setting this table up was okay except as I mentioned earlier I have no experience so I did have a little trouble with regards to fitting the blade and guard. The instructions are comprehensive but I would say the diagrams are not really as clear as they should be and there was missing information (for example) as to where to locate the blade wrenches, I couldn't find any mention of the location anywhere in the instructions. It took me a while to locate the blade wrenches, I eventually found them underneath the table, I have included a picture of this for reference. Also included in my pictures are photos of the accessories which all have a storage space which makes this table neat and compact. I found that this table saw cuts well and the rip fence was easy to position and use. As with all tools I do believe with some care this table will last a while. This is a great table saw for beginners or to use on home projects. In my opinion this is worth the investment and overall I believe this deserves a full 5 star rating. **NOTE: The blade wrenches are already attached to the table underneath as shown in my picture.**

Good price, compact storage, functional.
A handy and functional table saw that stows easily in your garage and is nicely priced. Ripping 1x or 2x boards with a circular saw is a huge pain. A bench saw requires a sturdy table you can screw or clamp to. Not to mention panel stock is too big for the fence. I upgraded to this saw and it fits the home DIY bill perfectly! Reasonable price, compact storage, and adequate functionality for most tasks. This and my 12 inch miter will probably more than serve my DIY lumber needs for the rest of my days! On the other hand, there are a lot of plastic parts. I would consider it a light to moderate duty tool, not heavy duty, and I would not use it for major construction projects unless I expected it to be short lived. It will probably not hold up to the stress for a long time and fail under an extended heavy load.

I hope my words of wisdom will help
If you’ve ever wanted to feel like Thor but with slightly more precision and a lot more sawdust, the SKIL 10” Table Saw is here to grant your wish. This beast comes loaded with features that make cutting wood feel less like a chore and more like a magic trick (minus the rabbit). First up, the rack and pinion fence rails. Translation: the fence actually stays straight, unlike that cousin who swore he’d “eyeball it” and now has a bookshelf that leans like it’s auditioning for Pisa. This thing glides smoother than butter on a hot pancake. Then there’s the integrated folding stand. The legs fold up so quickly you’d think they were dodging child support payments. One second it’s a rock-solid workbench, the next it’s folded away and stored like it was never there. Great for garages that are already packed with “someday projects.” Parallel blade alignment is another gem. You can micro-adjust the blade so it lines up perfectly, which means no more swearing at lumber that somehow has a mind of its own. Your cuts will be straighter than your grandpa’s opinion on politics. Speaking of cuts, the 4x4 cutting capacity means this saw will happily chew through lumber like a hungry beaver at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Add in the 2–47° bevel capacity, and suddenly you’re not just cutting wood—you’re crafting “artisan angles” your neighbor will be jealous of. Oh, and the dust port elbow? Genius. Instead of sneezing through a fog of sawdust and questioning your life choices, this little feature politely escorts the mess straight into a container. Cleanup becomes so easy you might actually do it. In short: this SKIL table saw is powerful, portable, and precise. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of saws, if the Swiss Army were really into woodworking. Highly recommended for anyone who likes their cuts clean, their storage simple, and their excuses for crooked projects eliminated.

Really good saw!
Iam a machinist and of coarse picky! This thing was all aligned nicely, smooth moving fence and blade adjustments, blade guard is sturdy but would rather it came with a zero clearance the a dado gap style. Yeah its loud, its a table saw! Lighter then it looks, easy to move with the handle and legs retracted, really easy to store. The miter guage isn't to great, like most. But ia. Happy with my purchase. It runs smooth cuts nicely even on hardwood.

Great for home projects
This is a 5 star saw if you are using it for home projects. It probably would not stand up to regular daily use on a construction site but other reviewers may have experience using it in a construction environment and might disagree. Having said that, it is plenty powerful and accurate for most home projects. I used it to rip long thick Mahogany boards and it did so with ease. As with any power tool don't force feed it and it will cut hardwoods very well. I am impressed with the clever design. All of the accessories, rip fence, miter gauge etc. store on the saw and the whole thing folds to a very easy to store size. The saw was adjusted very well at the factory but I checked all the adjustments per the manual and did some fine tuning. The adjustments are easy to do and I found the cuts to be clean, smooth and accurate. There is a lot of plastic used in this saw but that is how they keep the price way under all the other major brand manufacturers. How these parts hold up over time is yet to be seen but it comes with a 3 year warranty. I had a 50 year old table Craftsman table saw I inherited from my dad but after restoring it and using it a few times there was no place to store it - it was big and built like a tank. This saw suits my current needs and since it will not be used on a regular basis I hope it will last for a number of years. I recommend this for a DIY and home use but I defer to other reviewers for any job site type of use. For heavy use you might want to compare the Makita or Dewalt saws. I like the convenience, power, accuracy and thoughtful design of the Skill table saw. One final note: several reviewers have mentioned that the throat plate is made of plastic, mine is cast aluminum and is adjustable which may be a change since the earlier production runs. I purchased in October 2025.

Great investment that won't break the bank
I purchased this a couple of months ago and finally got to use it. As a DIY'er tihis purchase was a no brainer. I've never used a table saw before and read the instruction in and out. Everything was easy to use. The set-up was simple and needed minimal time to do so. The blade sat at an almost perfect 90 degrees. When repositioning the blade the locking mechanism secures the blade effortlessly. The materials used to build this tool is of quality metal. The dust collection comes with a bevel attachment to direct the saw dust as you like. The size and weight is perfect to transport without help. When not in use, the legs fold back and it easily fits on my metal shelving. I am very pleased with this table saw, if you are looking to purchase your first table saw, don't look any further. For the price, you won't go wrong.

少し残念。
天板がだれてハジの方で真っ直ぐじゃなかった。 ちょっと残念。 でも他は扱いやすくて良いとおもいます。 高い金払ったんで、楽しみながらやっていきます。

Great saw, worth every penny.
I just returned a new Ridgid 4518 because it was impossible to square and set up. It was very cheap material wise which really surprised me because I am a fan of Ridgid. Don't buy it. Save up until you can spare $200 more and buy this Skil. It is really amazing. Accurate and square right out of the box. The rack and pinion fence adjustment is so good. Truly a well engineered tool. Lots of power and finally a saw that controls the dust fairly well. I have a lot of confidence in the saw which is important when working with a tool of this nature. Highly recommend you get this tool in your shop.

No podría haber otra mejor opcion.

Perfect size
Perfect size for hobbyists. Didn't want to lug around a frame and wheels. And the saw came zeroed on all adjustments. Great saw for the price. And customer service was fantastic at getting it to me when I needed it.
