Whitmor Supreme Ironing Board Cover and Pad, Paragon Taupe/Gray

This is so well made. I had to get a new one because my old one wouldn’t stay on anymore. This one has the elastic band around the whole thing that alone will keep it in place but then it also has two Velcro straps. It’s gorgeous AND reversible and just the right amount of cushion. I would have paid over $20 for it so being under $10 is a STEAL! I’d buy another one if I didn’t know this one will last for many years.

After purchasing my first ironing board 50 years ago for my first apartment, I had only purchased one other cover and pad. Put it on right over the original, so when I peeled them both off to put on the new one, my only thought was--if only this one holds up as well, I'll be a happy camper. The pad on my second one was still in good shape, so I left it on when I put this new cover on. I like the velcro--makes it nice and snug. Although, I'm not sure why there are only two pieces but more places to use them. I had velcro from the second pad, so I cut those off and finagled them together to use in a third set of "holes" on the cover. Works great!

I was really torn whether I should rate this 4 or 5 stars. The color is great (which admittedly is a little brighter than the picture, which is fine by me), and it has the perfect amount of padding. I didn't have any problems getting the straps to work, like others mentioned, which actually makes me wonder if they got deffective straps or didn't realize that they were velcroed together and become twice as long when undone. I ultimatley decided to give this cover 4 stars for a couple reasons. One of those being that you really have to tug hard on the strings to get it to fit snugly. Also once pulled tight the strings are quite long. I cut the strings shorter then tied them up and pushed them under the pad to keep them up and out of the way. Finally, as others have mentioned a third strap would have been useful to help keep the pad on evenly since the holes are already there.

I washed it first as I saw that some had issues with the colors. Came out very well. It fits perfectly in my current board. I left the old padding. It looks excellent and I am happy with my purchase. I do minimum ironing, but the person that comes home to do the ironing for me loves it.

After 15+ years, my ironing board's old cover was tearing. This one by Whitmor looks like it will last me for the next 15! It provided secure Velcro straps that were easy to use, with four threading locations to choose from to customize the fit. Its taupe/gray pattern is attractive to look at. Once in place, it provided a smooth surface on which to place any garment to iron.

I was looking for an ironing board cover with a fun print for the laundry room. This is sturdy, well made, and - well, I find it cute too!

I’ve used the cover very regularly for over a year. Forgot it was reversible; I’ve only used the side with the blue and gray stripes. Did not experience the blue dye coming off, and the cover fits perfectly (no bunching) even with a thinner cover underneath. I pad up because I hate getting burned cross cross grid marks from the ironing board! Overall, it did its job. Getting a new one because this one has become heavily stained with brown burn marks from my steam iron. The brown stains do not fully come off but some did today onto my stark white shirt. I am too afraid to use the solid blue side for fear of the dye bleeding.

Delivery was fast. Padding and material are good qualityItem is described to come with "Drawstring cord with barrel lock for snug, secure fit". I believe there is a drawstring cord but no barrel lock and I cannot find any opening to draw out the string code to tighten for snug, secure fit. Instead it has two set of velcro tapes to ensure snug, secure fit but one set cannot be tightened because it will get into the way of the sliding leg of the ironing board.

Ela possui elástico em toda a volta, ficando bem firme na tábua. E ainda tem dois velcros para fixar melhor. É almofadado e a cor é linda.
