I was first drawn to these bags because of the different colors and patterns and that is my favorite thing about these. They are different than all the other reusable grocery bags that I have. The material is heavyweight and I can really load them up with groceries. They hold a lot and are not quite as narrow as the picture shows. I have been using these weekly for about 7 months, and so far the handles don't show any signs of wear or weakening. I have washed them maybe 10 or 15 times and they still look like new. I also like that the print is on both sides of the bags, so no matter which way I'm holding them they still look nice.My only complaint is that they don't have a loop inside to hook onto the bagging area contraption. It makes it a little bit awkward to fill them up with groceries. If these bags had a loop, I would definitely give them 5 stars.Update: A year and a half later and these bags still look like new, with weekly use. These are handsome, sturdy (medium-weight canvas) bags that are neither too small nor too big. Their handles are a good size for slipping over a shoulder. I bought them to use for groceries to replace a hodgepodge of bags that were so differently sized and shaped that checkers had difficulty using them. The uniformity of Carryplus's bags eliminates this problem. I did not give the bags 5 stars because they lack the little loop that some bags have that makes stabilizing them easier for checkers. The bags also lack the inserts that some bags have that fit in the bottom of a bag to help stabilize a bag's contents while one carries it. I suspected the bags lacked these from looking at the photo but couldn't tell for sure. I easily made inserts of my own using sturdy cardboard. The plain bag that holds the other bags is a neat in theory but a little too small in practice. The other bags are so tightly squeezed into it that pulling them in and out of it on a regular basis would not be worth the struggle for me. But these are are minor points. Overall, the bags are great!

Giving these bags four stars to start with - may revise to five star after using for a while. They arrived promptly and in excellent condition. They are well made, featuring extra, reinforcing stiching where the handles are attached to the bag, seams are straight and not frayed. The designs are attractive. They are quite roomy - just about the size of a paper grocery bag. My only "complaints" are small: I did have to iron the bags after washing. Be sure to iron them inside out. Also, the bottom could really use a stabilizing insert of plastic or cardboard. To me, those are both minor issues when compared to the mountain of plastic trash currently polluting the ocean. Would recommend this to anyone who cares about the environment or just doesn't like plastic bags or destroying trees for paper bags.

I purchased these bags originally to keep in my purse, since plastic bags have been "outlawed" where I live. However, the pouch is too large to carry in a purse… unless the purse is very large. They are great to keep in my car and just grab before I head into the grocery store. It is so nice not to have bags flying everywhere! The bags themselves are quite large, and all four are adequate enough to hold all my groceries. These are great bags for groceries. I just wish the handle was a little longer so I can put the bag on my shoulder comfortably. But other than that they hold quite a big. I love they are canvas because they are easy to wash.

These canvas bags are pretty, durable, machine washable, and a good size for grocery shopping. However, they have no body at all so it isn't super easy to fill them. I would buy them again.

Absolutely love these grocery bags! I've been using them for months. I've washed them and hung them up to air dry and they look great. I don't stuff them in the bag they came in. I use that to store my little reusable produce bags. Works great for that. I highly recommend these bags.

I have had these for a few weeks. I love them! They are soft, yet durable. They are bulkier than they look in the photo, but I expected that since they are canvas. It is very difficult to get them back in the bag folded, which is how they arrived. I found if I roll them as they are in the photo it is no problem at all.
