Awesome
It was easy to learn and it save me $250.00 by programming my vehicle myself.

Great for the price
I bought it be cause we switch the CPU in my SUV and it gave me a nats code or went into anti theft mode. It has a program on it that allows you to reprogram my keys and allows you to be able to start your car again. The only downside is it doesn't come with that many programs to begin with you may get three and everything else you'll have to buy in there about $30 a piece

No instructions on how to use and little help from tech support
I bought the ThinkScan Plus S4, set it up and attempted to use it. Had difficulties, but was able to actuate the horn, on, then off. Next time I attempted to use it, I received a notice I needed to install an update. I did update. Next time I tried to actuate a component, received an error message saying my device doesn't support the function. In one of my conversations with tech support, I was told I lost the actuation function when I accepted the update. There have been many more conversations. I just received another message from ThinkCar tech support repeating the "your device doesn't have that function" routine. That does it. I've spent well over 20 hours trying to follow cryptic, unclear, sometimes contradicting instructions. The device came with a "Quick Start Manual," which is useless for me. No detailed guidance on using the device. I will protest the charges through my credit card. Worst experience I've had in dealing with a seller.

Where's the battery?
All of the product specs I found for this device, on both Amazon and the manufacturers website say that this device has a battery. It only powers on when plugged in to the ODB2 port or connected via the USB cable and as soon as it's unplugged the screen goes dark. I reached out to the manufacturer about this and they confirmed that this model does not have a battery.Bad information about the battery aside, it is pretty easy to use. I do recommend letting it detect your vehicle info. On my 2003 Chevy Avalanche it was asking all kinds of questions I couldn't even begin to answer when I was manually selecting the vehicle. While not a bad product, I think I'm going to return it in favor of the ThinkTool Mini 2. It costs more but you get all of the Maintenance/Resets at no extra cost, it's wireless, it can do bi-directional tests (extra cost) and can be expanded to support TPMS, scopes, etc. to help troubleshoot more modern cars.

Great tool
Gotta buy more functions. So you end up spending about $400+ for all the functions . Still nice and works great.
