XCVIWomen's Willow Wide Leg Stretch Poplin Pants

These are my favorite pants--and the one item of clothing I own that seems to have a wide appeal to a vast spectrum of humanity based on comments I get. The ruching/gathering details around the front pockets and down the back are ridiculously flattering and unique. The fabric is very lightweight. I have them in size L (khaki) and size M (brown (cloud), and just ordered this color and black in size M even though they are not on sale, because I feel good all the time when wearing these. And tbh that is worth it right there.Note: These run AT LEAST a size large, I'd say. I wear a 10-12 in most other pants, and the M fits perfectly about 10 minutes after I put it on after I wash and dry it in the dryer. So if you buy a size smaller based on the fact that all the reviews say they run large, but then they are a bit snug when you first try them on, wear them around a bit before deciding they are too small. Currently the size L feels perfect on me just out of the dryer but quickly stretches out to the point where it feels too big, and the amount I have to tighten the drawstring to hold them up makes them gap and bunch up in a way I don't like at the waistline. I think it looks best completely flat with no tension on the drawstrings.Also note: These pants are quite long. I am 5'8" (average length legs, or maybe a bit shorter than average), and with three inch platforms they just reach the ground.In the photos where I am wearing a black tank top, I am wearing flat shoes. In the ones where I am wearing a long sleeve black top, I am wearing the three inch platforms. This is the color called cloud, which most of us call brown.The photos with the long sleeved shirt are more true to color. The back of these is really the star of the pants, but I just can't bring myself to take a picture of my own ass right now. Trust me, whatever you have going on back there, these pants will likely make it look good.

Ok, a little story. I have a pair of this pants in green that I really bought it about 18 years ago and I loved them until last week that I saw the pockets treads started to rip…. It’s 18 amazing years that I was wearing these pants and every single time I would get a compliment. I found these in blue and I am again in love! The fit, the comfort, the style, the whole thing- it’s a must. It makes your butt so sexy

I owned these pants about 10 years ago, and wanted them again. I love the style, even if a bit loose. I'm 5'9", 170 lbs and ordered a Medium (33"). They go may 1/2" on the ground with no shoes on. Honestly, they are bigger than I'd like, but I wouldn't go to a small. I do have a more straight figure, average a size 12 in pants - often pants are tight in the waist for me, and these are looser in the waist than I'd like. I'd say definitely go a size down - I'm NEVER a medium size, yet a medium in these are a bit big (they stretch out when wearing). (my waist is about 35", hips about 40")

I love these pants. Had a pair just like them 8 years ago from same brand and wore them all the time. But the previous pair did not have stretchy elastic in the waist. These do. I ordered XS based on all the reviews but they were still too big around the waist. If you are XS and these are too big...you have no where to go. Bummed.

I’ve loved XCVI for years and these did not disappoint. Higher rise than others and super flattering with fitted waist through thigh. I’m 5’3” and needed to have them hemmed. We’ll worth it, they are extremely comfortable and light weight. Easily dressed up or down.

I LOVE these panta! I have gotten Multiple compliments & shared the link. The lightweight fabric has the slightest stretch to it. I did need to shorten the pant legs- they are 34” as specified. Very attractive!

I’m a size 12, 5’11”. I love the style and have them in a large but they are way too big at the waist and have to use the drawstring to hold them up, which leaves about a 2” gap of material. I ordered the medium and the waist was perfect but the thigh was significantly tighter, too tight, and the crotch seam ripped when I sat down. Very thin material and the long is very long. Super cute on but fit is a struggle and since made cheaply best not to go down in size

I’m 5’9” so I bought the 33” inseam. These pants are super comfy. I get compliments every time I wear them. I wash on gentle and hang to dry. They’ve held up well so far. I’ve had them for a month and have washed twice. I wish the black was in stock with the 33” inseam. I would order in a heartbeat.
