"Mom! That is the sweetest thing ever!"
The fact that this book was released on my daughter's 26th birthday, and it just happened to be during a major quarantine event, was divine intervention. I gave this book to her aa a belated birthday present. When I sat her down and read it to her, the joyful tears in her eyes told me that this was the perfect gift. "Mom! That is the sweetest thing ever!" It is a precious book that is a joy for children of all ages!

Adorable Book for Little Ones
This is such a darling book with sweet rhymes and engaging illustrations. Kids will enjoy following along to see different animals and be reminded kids how much they are loved. We also appreciate the padded cover and overall quality of the book. I have already read this to my littles a few times and plan to keep this in the rotation of books we read over and over!

A BIG idea in a sweet package!
My copy of I Love You Bigger Than the Sky arrived at a bittersweet time in my life. I had a new grandbaby—a red-headed, blue-eyed heart melter. My son’s marriage had added two more to my count of grandkids. And the COVID-19 self quarantining had just begun. I wanted more than anything to hug all my precious ones, to have all thirteen of them snuggled around me on the couch (OK, maybe the floor) while I read this sweet book, I Love You Bigger Than the Sky. Alas, it was not to be. I haven’t had the opportunity to sit with a little one on my lap, enjoying the adorable pictures of child/parent (or child/grandparent) pairs in the animal kingdom—the puppy and his doggy-mama, the eaglet and her eagle-daddy, the piggy-grandma who loves her little piglet so much that she could squeal. But, I have read Michelle Medlock Adams’ endearing lines, like, “Just when I think my heart is full, I love you even more,” and, “My favorite place is next to you, I love you by my side.” I’ve read them through a picture window, in a video conference, on a telephone, to give my littles a verbal hug, and remind them how much their grandma loves them. This book, with its title, I Love You Bigger Than the Sky, could become the next loving catch-phrase, just like “Love you forever” or “Love you to the moon and back.” But more importantly, it offers parents and grandparents the opportunity to build memories in child-hearts of the important message they shared: “If hearts could smile, I know mine would, and you’re the reason why.”

Totally precious!
"I Love You Bigger Than the Sky" by Michelle Medlock Adams is a precious children's book, and one of my toddler's favorites! He loves looking at the full-spread illustrations, which are both detailed and warm. All of the illustrations are of animals except for the last spread, which shows a mom and her son. (For those looking for more diversity, you'll be pleased that the mom and her son have slightly darker skin. Also, the animal parents could be either moms or dads. For that matter, the animal kids could be boys or girls, which should help kids identify with the characters.)The rhyme is exactly what you'd expect from Adams: both sweet and lyrical. Each spread shows a parent telling their little one just how much they love them in a way that is perfect for each character (e.g. the mouse loves her little one "more than cheddar cheese").As for the overall message, we know kids need to hear "I love you" all the time. This book helps us parents tells our kids just that, in a fun and sweet way. It's a book any kid (and parent) would love!

I love you more ....
Michelle Medlock Adams has done it again! Another amazing book that makes kids feel so loved, treasured, precious, and special. Bigger than the sky, wider than the sea, taller than the trees ... adorable illustrations show animals parents expressing their love to animal babies, like the pig who says he loves the piglet "more than lots of mud" or "more than a yummy meal." The exceptional rhyme pattern will have children repeating the words in no time, because, well, they're gonna ask to read it over and over and over.... Loved this book that I purchased at a writers conference and had the opportunity to read time and again already!
