Would this efficiently remove smoke in the home from forest fires?

I have not used ours for that purpose, but considering how well it works to remove the smell and smoke from burning something in- oven, I would elect it to work great

My new dual protection filter, has a chemical smell; I return it, now I still need a filter. Are all the dual protection filters have this smell ?

These filters should never cause a smell. If you would like to reach out to us directly for a filter you can do so by reaching out to us at info@blueair.com.

How many filters come in order? It seems like a lot of money for just one?

One filter only, this is their high end version, "Dual Protection" The standard Blueair Classic Replacement Filter, 200/300 Series works just fine, and is $60.
