Second time buyer of these collars. Had the last ones about 4 years. They were still in good shape just faded colors so we got some new bright colors. They hold up great, very well made. Can keep them really loose on their neck so they just slip off when you want to remove them but when hooked to a leash they tighten up yet dont choke like a chain or prong choker, much more gentle pressure. Have never had any of them accidentally slip out of it either.Will last for many years. Highly recommend.

This collar was bought for my service dog...who HATES collars that are uncomfortable. He LOVES this collar-the first ever. He likes it so much that on the rare occasion it comes off; for a good scratch or a bath-he never loses sight of where it was set down and as soon as he's done goes to get it and brings it to me to put it on. He's a rough and tumble boy when not in harness. He's hard on equipment and does like to pull and chew. He works a lot and so it's in all types of experiences and weather. It's a tough and well made collar. After a year or so of use it still looks and acts brand new. He's always been a puller even when he knew better and even the gentle leader couldn't break him of the occasional pull. This one however he respects because as soon as he starts to get ahead of me it tightens just enough to be a reminder and as soon as he returns to loose leash it immediately loosens too so he's got that instant reward and rarely has a brain fart anymore because of it. I'd recommend it highly and we'll definitely be getting a few more in future.

This collar is well made and the style of collar was recommended by trainer. I have a 50 lb dog and sturdiness is what I was looking for.

He can defeat any collar. He has been wearing if for almost 3 months now... A proper brute of a Lab... he's *around* 60lbs. He relishes at the chance to escape from a collar, thrills at the chance to destroy anything that would bind him. And after 3 months, this collar looks brand new. I cannot speak for Quality Control because I have one good copy... but if you have a.... high spirited four-legged-family-member and you have struggled to find a good collar that gives you control when it's needed? This one is definitely worth a shot!

No clasp, which makes it more difficult to take on and off. Also, don't like the colors that it comes in.
