USHMA Inflatable Wedge Pillow for Sleeping, Portable Travel Wedge Pillow for Sitting in Bed, Inflatable Wedge Pillows for Travel, Blow Up Under Knee Pillow

I've been triple-whammed with 3 major medical issues that keep me from being able to lie flat. Not only does my upper body need to be elevated when I lie down, I need at least 10-12 inches of elevation. At home I use a 12" foam sleep wedge but it is far too big to travel with. So when I traveled I was requesting extra pillows and trying to sleep on a least 4 pillows to give me the needed elevation. That doesn't work well and is uncomfortable make sleep elusive. I found this product while searching inflatable wedges and decided to give it a try even though I knew it wouldn't be high enough. I ordered one and when it arrived I tried it by putting it on top of a 7" foam wedge. I had read in another customer's review that stated that they didn't inflate the wedge all the way, leaving it a little soft which made it more comfortable. That definitely worked. It was surprisingly comfortable. So I immediately ordered a second one. By inflating one fully and then putting the other which is only 3/4 inflated on top, it works exceptionally well. It is soft and comfortable and provides perfect elevation. I don't use a pillow case on them because the rougher felt keeps you from sliding down. It appears to be easy to clean with a microfiber cloth. The great thing is they are easy to inflate and deflate. When deflated they fold into a small size and fit easily into the provided carry case. They take up very little space in the suitcase and weigh very little. You can put them in your carry-on or checked baggage. They have made my trips much more comfortable and I'm sleeping better when I'm traveling. So far there are no issues with them losing air at night. I am a small person weighing 110 lbs. I don't know how well they would hold up with a heavier person. But for me, they have worked very well. They've helped with breathing as well as controlling coughing and reflux. And they are comfortable! Should I have issues with them as I use them more, I'll come back and edit this review. However, as for now, I highly recommend this product.

Does exactly what it says, needs a small pump to blow up but that is a small extra thing to carry for a good night sleep. Fantastic for those who need a wedge pillow to sleep while traveling. Packs small (size of sm paperback) and is easy to use. In regards to the quality. Have used for 2 weeks straight with no air leakage. Definitely a sleep saver for those who need to sleep more up. Max height is 8 inches which is the same as a standard good wedge pillow.

When travelling not having your bed is always a challenge, position, firmness/softness, pillow, support, etc. and for those of us that have GERD or other incline required conditions, getting the right position can literally mean the difference between resting and not resting at all, <THIS is the reason why I bought this inflatable device. Is it perfect? No...it has an extremely slow air leak, yet not enough to go flat over 10 days of usage (overseas), I am 350lbs. Will it probably work better for those of you who are less heavy? Highly probable and if it did, it would be 5*. Material is good, firm, strong, no noises, no shifting position and works well if you use other pillows above it. It's portable, folds nicely for storage and inflates/deflates easily. Would I recommend it? Yes. Will I continue to travel with it? Yes.

**UPDATE** This is a photo at 5:47 am. Don’t waste your time or money. I don’t know what material this pillow is made of but I’ve had latex balloons hold air longer. As the week progressed, it deflated with usage. It has nothing to do with weight, I weigh 131 lbs. Ordered this as an inexpensive trial before investing in an expensive pillow. I have acid reflux and recent spinal neck surgery. It worked fine. None of the sweating that foam pillows usually cause me to feel. Much improved acid reflux symptoms and my neck was comfortable. Only problem was loss of air. After the third night it was a little less firm. I just blew it back up.

Great product. I tend to sleep with my head raised slightly. Regular bed pillows just don’t do the trick when traveling. I took this with me on three cruises now, and it works great. I stand it up against the head board while reading in bed, then lay it down to elevate my head while sleeping. Takes a bit to inflate (by mouth), but once inflated, holds air beautifully. Never had to add air even on a 21 day cruise. The travel bag keeps it nice and safe during transport. Would recommend

As others have noted, the air valve is designed in such a way that it's easy to inflate most of the way, but difficult to inflate completely as it's next to impossible to close without letting some air out. Once setup, the internal baffle (which is partly to blame) helps seal the valve so it doesn't leak from there. Have tried several times, and unable to deflate and fold such that it will fit in the provided carry bag. But it still can be folded pretty small for packaging for your trip. At the largest size (24x24x12) it is able to give you a decent wedge and lift, and much more convenient that carrying a full size wedge pillow on your trip. Holds air decently well, though I suspect that is because I don't fill it until it's completely firm since you want to leave a little give for when you are putting your weight on it.

I’ve had to sleep in a recliner now for several months and didn’t know what to do when I started traveling, and in fact, when we went on a cruise I had no recliner option. For some reason, my sacrum hurts when I lay on a flat surface and this is solved my problem. I bought the “Inflatable Wedge Pillow” by USHMS and the “TOUGH BISON leg elevation pillow,” and together they turned my bed into a recliner. They were perfect, exactly what I needed. I blew these up and put them on the bed and with another pillow under my head, my problem was solved. I was so comfortable! Felt just like laying in the recliner. They are made of a soft light gray material that is like suede, so my legs did not slide off. I had a battery operated air compressor machine that I had purchased for a blowup mattress and it worked perfectly. The one that takes six C batteries so are very portable. No leaks, although this is the first trip Ive used them on so will report back if either springs a leak. They seem very durable. Thanks!

This started out to be a great inflatable wedge. Used it, worked well but after 3 weeks it began to deflate. It has an undetectable leak and the wedge does not remain firm as when we initially bought. Disappointing!!!

Not very confortable to use

My wife and I each have one. I use it not only for camping or travel but daily. It’s been across the country twice. No leaks, but packs small and lite. Very glad to have it!

The pillow is a good quality product with a good valve system. Would have given 5 stars but the experience was not like I’ve had with other suppliers with the delivery being late by 1+ weeks & I didn’t receive a tracking notice about the delivery date.
