I got these to replace poor quality/too short ear elastics on masks I had purchased. They are great- soft and stretchy and very adjustable. I had extras, so I found they are also long enough to use in my own home made masks right through the casing! So now (with added nose wires) I have customized premium masks for myself and my family.

Like everyone else, I bought these to make masks and spent way too much time trying to find the right elastic material. I wish I had found these a year ago when I started making them! It's saves so much time to have precut, adjustable ear bands - no more measuring and customizing lengths! They are made of soft flat stretchy material (not the hollow strings) and the adjustable slide is soft and unnoticeable when worn behind the ear. I have been lightly melting the ends before I sew them into the masks to prevent any fraying. The vendor even put in an extra of each color so the numbers are even (56 of each color so you don't end up w one mask w 2 different bands!). Very thoughtful surprise. Best price I could find.

These were the best overall of 3 different elastics I've used in 200+ masks. Soft,stretchy with decent length for most masks. Overall the best length for all but the largest sizes. I found these worked well for different patterns (7 total) I used also. I had a very good experience with this seller, earlier then expected arrival of elastics all packed straight and compactly making it early to pull out and insert without having to smooth out kinks and tangles. A small thing I really liked was both sides of the elastic was even. That was just one less thing I had to do. I just placed my third order as I am making masks for more non profits to give out.I'm very glad I found these! A great product at an unbeatable price!

I was using regular 1/8 inches elastic to make masks before I purchased this item. I bought the item to upgrade my home made masks. I really love adjustable elastic. It makes my project look more professional. Very nice product and very reasonable price. This is my second purchase and I will definitely buy again.

I really like the way they stay on - I have a problem with fitting hearing aids, glass frame, and now a mask all behind my ears. these have worked for me on 2 different styles. They make sewing them much easier, too.I took a chance. I am happy with them.

I can make masks so much faster with these! They are soft and easy to wear.And I really like the adjusters - they are flat and soft- you don't feel them at all. Not at all bulky.They are not too thick, so it is easy to sew them in to masks.They are only just wide enough to make me feel they will stay reliably sewn in to the mask - sew over them twice.(Seem more like 3/16" - just shy of 1/4" - but it's enough)I would prefer

I have not found any negatives to these:-the stopper moves easy but stays nicely on the elastic and does not budge-easy to sew on a mask, just the right thickness-soft on the ear and not itchy or rough-stretchy enough for a wide variety of fits-very adjustable

I really like how these are adjustable, it makes a fabric mask a bit more comfortable. The elastic part is wide enough too where I don't feel like it's digging into my ear. The adjustable bead can also be removed if you don't need the strings to be smaller (fair warning it's nearly impossible to put the bead back on).
