Twinings Tea Bags Sampler Assortment (40 Count) by Variety Fun

I am extremely pleased with the Twinings 120 count tea sampler. It included exactly 3 each of 40 different teas (120 total), and did not contain excessive duplicates of any one variety. I would buy this again. Very, very happy. However ...I would suggest you AVOID the seller Custom VarieTea's 40 count sampler of Ahmad Teas. I ordered that at the same time as this Twinings 120 count sampler. The 40 Ahmad teas included 8 of the vary same tea (English No 1.), a problem that has been reported by other reviewers as well. As with the Twinings sampler, the Ahmad sampler is described as being "handpicked", so the excessive duplication is not an accident. Given the repeated complaints about this happening with English No. 1, it seems the seller was dumping that one particular tea in the samplers. That photo shows 34 different Ahmad teas but be warned you might get 8 or 9 of the same thing (20%+ of the sampler).

Arrived in a cardboard box with all the individual packs loose. Upon opening, I laid out all the teas to see the range/types. The ones I received included black teas, Herbal Teas, and Green Teas. In all, I received 38 different teas (2 of the flavors had a duplicate). Also included was a small plastic bag with mints from the shipper.This is a wide variety of teas, including ones that you might easily find at your local grocery store, as well as some that are a bit more obscure. A great way to sample many different styles from a good and reputable brand!

I was a little worried about ordering this for my grandmother after reading all of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover a cute box, a dozen mints, and entirely different teas with no repeats!! In this set I received 12 black teas, 9 herbal teas, 5 green teas, 5 organic teas, 4 chai teas, 2 Christmas teas, 1 pure white tea, and 1 pure oblong tea. The only reason this gets 4/5 stars is because I got 39 tea bags instead of 40.

Just started using this assortment of teas so far have been very pleased with the taste and smell of the teas. Several of them I had tried before such as earl gay, lady earl gray, english breakfast, pure mine, several I had not such as mint with Lemon, night time ect. It has given me ideas as to other flavors I will like to try in larger packages later.Have ordered this tea set several times. Makes a very nice present for someone to get to try several types and flavors of teas without being stuck with a whole box and then not liking the flavor.

I've purchased this product three times and really love the variety. It's a little more expensive per tea bag than if you bought yourself, but then you'd be buying 40 different boxes of tea so you're paying for the convenience. My only gripe with it is I don't like ALL the teas that are in there. It would be nice if there was the option to purchase an assortment with all the flavors except for the chai teas, for example. Or maybe like instead of 3 of each chai tea, 1 chai tea each and just add more to the green tea.

This is a great way to find a bunch of teas you like/love. If you're tired of overpaying and getting a dud, why not try a mix of 40. I didn't even know I'd like mint teas, but now I do. I even thought the warning of 'includes mint' was a sign of misery to come. Yes, there are ones I didn't like and ones that I forgot, but I found some new favorites that I can buy in bulk or pick up in a store if they're stocked. Overall, it was a nice experience.

I bought two of these samplers to add flavored, decaffeinated tea bags to snack/gift bags for my patients. They are psych patients so the bags had to be staple free, which they are. I emailed the company about the staples before I bought them and they got back to me within a day or two. Very quick on the response. My patients get boring tea bags on the unit, and they loved these ones. They each got 5 teabags in their gift bags and were trading them on Christmas morning like a bunch of kids trading baseball cards. It was pretty awesome. I had an assortment of about 20 tea bags left over, which I kept. I’m more of a coffee drinker, but I’ve been working my way through these teas, and quite honestly, I’m enjoying them. Since I’m not a tea drinker, I really wouldn’t know a good tea if it slapped me in the face. With that said, I think they’re tasty. I particularly like the French vanilla chai and the orange cinnamon something or other. I’m new to chai, but have always liked citrusy flavors. Anyway, I think thy were worth it, at least for my intended purpose.

I love the idea of testing different things and don't think that this product is overpriced either but I was looking forward to 40 different kinds of tea. It does say that in rare cases, when flavors are unavailable it will be substituted with available flavors and I have seen other reviews that said they had a flavor substituted. But I have 5(!!) double bags which disappoints me quite a bit, especially because 3 of the flavors I really wanted to try are missing and substituted with the very generic "Green tea" "breakfast tea" and "Chai tea" without flavors...
