I'm in love with this set!
I can't believe I waited into my 40s to buy myself some decent pots and pans. Every set I've had before this has been either all non-stick or ceramic, and no thick heavy bottom. And I cook a ton for just the two of us. I just didn't want to spend hundreds on a fancy set of plain boring stainless steel pots/pans (I have a retro, colorful kitchen). These are heavy, but not too heavy. The sides are thin BUT are solidly made and durable. For example, I'm a clutz, and while putting the new set away I banged one of the lids into the stove hood. In all my old cookware, this would've meant a dent and/or the color flaking off. I was shocked there was no dent at all. I also dropped one of the pans on my tile counter-- no dent. So the sides and lids are thin, but VERY durable. They heat incredibly evenly and fast, and with the old electric stove in my rental, this is a must. Everything cooks SO much better. No hot spots. They're also very easy to clean. I've washed them in the sink with little scrubbing, or just tossed them into the dishwasher. The color (blue) is beautiful and incredibly durable (like I said, I've banged/dropped them a couple times). They remind me of the cookware my Nana had, and I love that. I can see I'll be using these for life.My ONLY complaint is that I wish there was a smaller lidded saucepan. There is a separate small one with a spout that is fantastic for cocoa and sauces, but a slightly larger version with a lid (spaghetti sauce gets messy) would make this set PERFECT. Otherwise, I'm in love!

Works on Induction Cooktops
I bought this set to use with my induction stove and they work and look great! This set was a great value for the money, but I wish they would have substituted a 2 quart saucepan and lid for one of the two same-size lids, then the set would have been perfect.

Attractive, Quality Stainless Steel Cookware Set with 3 Wood Kitchen Tools
This cookware set is attractive looking--a soft blue on the outside of the pots, pans and lids, with the bottoms silver stainless steel. They are solidly built and very functional. Except for the frying pan, the three other pieces of cookware all have lids that match the color of the pots and pans. Except for the stock pot, which has knobs on both sides, the other two pieces of cookware have a handle with a ring for hanging up, if desired. Three kitchen tools are included, made of beechwood: a spoon, a spoon with slits, and a turner. The cookware is described as dishwater safe. The frying pan is listed as ceramic and non-stick. The online product description doesn't explain how the ceramic frying pan is safe. Since I've heard there may have been some safety concerns with some non-stick coatings, I searched the internet and found an explanation that ceramic frying pans that are glazed in a kiln, and don't have a coating, are safe. This appeared to be from an authoritative source, so it satisfied my concern, but it might have been better if this explanation were included in the product description. I took one star off for this. But nevertheless, the product itself is high quality, very functional, and attractive.

I need more time...
The first thing that struck me was how light and thin the sidewalls of the pots and pans were. I am used to using a Wearever set that I got close to 18 years ago and some cast iron so it was a little bit of a disappointment as to how this set felt. The bottoms are a little more substantial to help spread the heat. The lids are as thin as the sidewalls and have plastic handles.I've only been using the set for a month and so far. I haven't had a problem cooking with the set. I haven't had a problem with staining but time will tell. I do miss having glass lids.I am not yet saying that this set is garbage but I am saying it isn't spectacular to me so far. I worry that the thin walls are going to be susceptible to denting. I will come back and update after more time has passed.

bright attractive color, good sizes for a cookware set, lighter weight than expected
A lot of cookware sets I see on Amazon or in department stores are too small, with 8 inch frying pans and 1 quart sauce pans that are too small for most of my recipes. This set has sizes that I can actually use as my primary cookware. The pans all have thick bottoms to heat up evenly, which makes cooking easier. The upper walls are much thinner and surprisingly lightweight. Is that the style these days? I'm used to thick heavy pans. I prefer glass lids, but these work OK.The "ceramic" non-stick surfaces work great when new. We'll see how long they last. Some "ceramic" surfaces are not very durable. The bright blue color of these pans is not for everyone, but I love the way they brighten up my kitchen. You have to have a full set of pans in the same color to get that effect, of course. The wooden utensils are large and good quality. I suppose they are setting an example for you on how to take care of you pans (no metal utensils). They are a nice functional addition to this set.
