You get what you pay for
There are plenty of methods to add priming sugar when bottle conditioning your brew, most of which can be accomplished at far lower cost than using Coopers carbonation drops. However, I have had very good results using these drops. I put one carbonation drop in each 12-oz bottle, add beer, cap it, wait a week, chill it, and then every bottle I open forms a nice head when poured into a glass. In my years of home brewing I have tried measuring sugar bottle by bottle and also mixing some amount of sugar into the whole batch just prior to bottling--and I always end up with some bottles being overcarbonated (stand back) and other bottles from the same batch being unsatisfying and flat. The carbonation drops take away the guesswork. You get pretty consistent carbonation throughout the batch. The drops came packaged in bubble wrap, undamaged. You want to be careful not to throw the bag around as some of the drops will break or crumble from rough handling. My only packaging complaint is that I wish the bag was resealable with a ziplock or something. I use a bread tie to hold it closed between batches. Also, be sure your hands are dry when you are handling the drops so you don't make a sticky mess. Bottom line: if you are like me and have trouble getting your homebrew to carbonate correctly, spend the extra money for these drops, and you won't be disappointed.

Patience Required
I make lots of small batches of brew (usually one gallon batches). I'm not very good at calculating how much priming sugar I need, and also don't know exactly how many bottles each batch will yield. These drops solve my problems. If you use these drops, then be patient. In my experience, they take a lot longer than two weeks to carbonate beer. I keep my bottles at room temperature, usually between 64-68 degrees. My bottles take at least one month to carbonate. My hunch is that the drops take a long time to dissolve. I prefer my beers to have high carbonation. These drops work great with 12-ounce bottles. I find that my 16-ounce bottles are under-carbonated when using one drop. I find these drops to be reliable and convenient. I'll continue to use them; they just take a bit longer than other methods.

These work.
These work great. If your beer isn't carbonating or is exploding and you are using either 1 of these for a 12 Oz or 2 for a 22 you are doing something wrong not the sugar drops. You probably have an infected batch or you didn't let it finish fermenting before you bottled it. I like these as opposed to mixing in priming sugar into a bottling bucket then trying to evenly mix it into the beer without stirring it seems like a stupid way to do stuff. This way you know each bottle got exactly as much sugar as it needed and you can go straight from the fermenter to the bottle without overly agitating the fermented beer.

Saved my batch, excellent product!!
I brewed a beer at a local brew on premises place and the amount of priming sugar they suggested and added to my bottling bucket was definitely not what the beer needed (a Hoegaarden clone). After letting it carbonate on its own for two weeks the beer was quite flat. I only had two options at this point and that was to either toss the batch out or try to corbonate it a little more. So I opened each bottle, popped in a tablet, recapped everyone one them. Waited another two weeks for the tablet to fully dissolve and carbonate. Now the beer tastes exactly like it should have the first time. So no need to toss the whole batch (as it was flat), just add a tablet put it away for a little while and you're good to go. Saved my batch, excellent product!!!

Good value for your money
I purchased the Home Brew & Wine Making Pack of 80 Carbonation Tablets, and I’m really pleased with them. They’re very easy to use — just drop the right amount into the bottle before sealing, and they do the job perfectly. The carbonation is consistent, and my home brew came out nicely fizzy without any issues. No mess, no guesswork, and much more convenient than measuring sugar.

Easy
Excellent product, easier, faster and more precise than measuring powder sugar etc. I used 1 drop per 500ml bottle and 2 per 1 litre bottle, carbed perfectly, no excess fizz or bottle bombs. Not to mention it left no cidery aftertaste, buy them!
