great artbook. Abit pricey is an understatement but due to the limited quantity it was either not have the artbook or pay the price however I feel is worth it (in fact this artbook is worth many times more.)398 pages of artwork showing all aspects of the game "Control" of character-Jesse faden, enemies-Hiss, the burtalism building design long with a write up of the thought process from various different artists, wardrobe, story synopsis, technical aspects of how the game was created.Remedy don't make alot of games but when you play one of their games, you see why.

I love gaming artwork books, and I have to say the presentation on this one is absolutely stunning. The book itself is in a good quality cover and red lined pages, and the contents are a gorgeous representation of the concepts in the game

It’s really amazing to see how the game which I fell in love with due to the amazing graphics and interesting plot came to be, if you love those aspects of the game, this is a great behind the scenes look.

This is an amazing book. Really insightful look into Remedy's development of Control, art direction, world building and design. As a game design student I found the information insightful for improving my own projects, and of course it's always just plain fascinating to read about the creative processes of veteran studios. A really wonderful Making Of book rarely seen in this capacity and depth. Bonus points for looking rather chic on the bookshelf.

The quality and artistry of the book itself is simply stunning, but Amazon let me down on the delivery yet AGAIN. The corner of the sleeve is busted. I'm really bummed by this - it's a collector's item and this is unacceptable...

Repleto de informações, com entrevistas dos desenvolvedores, designers, produtores e roteiristas sobre suas inspirações para o game.Qualidade impecável do produto, desde as artes e esboços utilizados na criação dos cenários, ambientes, objetos, itens e personagens, com a comentário dos produtores contando cada detalhe, até com um pouco da lore do game. Tudo é muito bem organizado e categorizado, com todos os Setores do Game, incluindo o conteúdo sobre as DLCs 'The Foundation' e 'AWE'. Este com certeza é um item obrigatório para o fã de Control.

If you're looking for the ultimate companion book to help explain a game like Control that has a lot of mystery, this is it! It has in-depth information for every facet of the game, and made me appreciate it and it's fascinating world even more. It sheds light on these high concepts at an unprecedented level, and gives a ton of details direct from the developers themselves.This book was clearly written and put together by very passionate people who wanted to deliver an amazing product without holding anything back. They obviously did a ton of research, and had a good seat time with the developers. You very rarely get this level of post production insight in any form of media, let alone a video game. It's books like this that can give credibility to the "video games are art" statement. You could show this to any person and they would better understand how much time and effort goes into creating a video game.It's a gorgeous package from cover to cover, and includes a quality textured slip case. The red-edged pages and bold cover font are powerful and striking, it looks like something the developers would have chosen themselves as an "Altered Item" from the game itself. Extremely high quality binding that lets you flip through with confidence that it won't come apart at the seams. Print quality is also top notch, colors are rich and pictures exposed well.I've bought and read through a multitude of gaming art books over the years. This goes above and beyond all of those and I've purchased some of the best. This is a total package that leaves no stone unturned. There is a shocking amount of information here!Jonathan, Will, and the rest of the Futurepress crew deserve a ton of credit here. This is a very special book and brings so much more joy to a very interesting game by one of my favorite developers. This book is a perfect example of the Futurepress difference I've come to know and love. Can't wait to see more books from this team, wow!

Das hier ist mit Abstand eines der hochwertigsten, schönsten, umfangreichesten und beeindruckendsten Artbooks für ein Videospiel das ich je gesehen habe und nun auch besitze.Der Preis hatte mich erst ein bisschen abgeschreckt, aber da das Spiel einfach so genial war und mir das Artdesign so gefallen hat, habe ich mich überwinden können.Es ist jeden penny Wert.Absolut empfehlenswert für jeden der ein Fan von Control oder auch einfach Videogamedesign generell ist und ein Buch dazu haben möchte mit dem man sich das Hanteltraining sparen kann.10/10 würde es wieder kaufen.

Very nice art, very nice book. Feels like quality stuff.Shipping by amazon is really bad though, we were lucky but they need to put some packing paper or something in there cause the damn thing was alone in a huge box and could have easely gotten damaged.
