Awesome
I used my buddies blade on my property and was blown away at how well this blade performed. I cut down evening from 2" saplings to briar patches and this blade handled it all and was ready for more. I had to get one for myself. I highly recommend for over growth and thick brush.

They work good
But I use a Stihl weed eater the weight is tough on it will wear it down engine if not balance right. Two of the screws broke on the muffler on a older model Stihl. I suggest you use a newer model or one you don't mine wearing down. But as for the job it cuts everything weeds, sunflower etc

This is a Monster
Unfortunately after our AZ monsoons, my property was overtaken by knee high to waist high weeds. I burned up my cordless trimmer and decided to get my Badger weed eater tuned up. After the tune up, all was good but the bump of the string did not work, and the metal blade that came with the Badger was tweaked a bit and caused a lot of vibration. So, I found this one and the reviews seemed authentic so I bought it and am I glad I did. This blade did the job cutting these weeds and my 80 year old body was not overly exhausted. I would recommend this for sure, no need to shop or compare other similar blades. Worth every penny, and I bought another to keep in reserve.

Amazing
I put this on a husqvarna 130l and used it to cut down overgrown vegetation on a hillside that hasn’t been mowed in 3 or 4 years.I was skeptical if it would work but it worked amazingly well!Be careful and use controlled motions when you use it because if it hits your foot or leg, you are going to get shredded!I had to watch a youtube video to understand how to install it because it came with no instructions.

Hole in the middle is fractionally too small for Honda trimmer
From the beginning, this blade did not seat itself properly like all the other cutting heads I've used. It was just the slightest, tiniest bit too small. I kind of jammed it down on there, although it didn't have a nice settled feeling. I fastened the outer parts together with the proper torque. Five minutes after beginning to use my trimmer, there was a very sudden violent vibration of the shaft. When I stopped and started the trimmer again, the vibration continued, even though the outermost screw was still tightly torqued down. I spoke to a Honda rep and he said that a sudden vibration like that would have to be due to a problem with how the cutting head was attached. This is obviously just careless workmanship, in a product where safety is key.

Quality ok. Didn’t fit Husquvarna 525
Even though product description says it will fit Husq. Works out my Stihl trimmers have 10x1.0 fine threaded shaft. My 525 has 10x1.25 coarse threads. Left hand threaded locknut so you prolly won’t find at hardware store. Also needs a 22mm dia flange or the thing won’t stay centered and vibrates. Ordered a $6 locknut in the right size and if that doesn’t fix the problem, I’m returning. Why they don’t put nuts with both threads in the kit escapes me.

Incredible for thick, tropical "cane grass"
I opted for the 12" blade for more speed/power/momentum at the cutting tips. I've owned several weed eater strings and metal blades and this one works the best for the crazy tough "cane grass" here in Hawaii. What makes a huge difference with this compared to the saw-blade-style blades is that this one can throw some of the cut material and can be moved up and down through the grass and weeds and not just left and right. One warning is that this blade is VERY aggressive and, hence, fairly dangerous to use. I've gotten a few welts from this blade kicking small debris back at me (somehow missing the guard). If it hits something it cannot cut, it yanks the whole weed eater to the right. Just make sure nothing important is next to you! I also wear a woodsman's helmet/face guard (with safety glasses) and still feel exposed. That said, I still plan on ordering another!
