Positive reading for children
Children love reading the Berenstain Bears and this book is wonderful and educational in an interesting way

Great book for the whole family
In todays book stores it hard to find good stories with values for families. The Berestain Bears always have excellent quality. The one with the Easter story is excellent and helps us understand why we mix the pagan with Christian values. This is excellent.

Quality read at Easter time
A Berenstein Bear book about Easter. Of course. Papa bear plays Jesus.

It was okay
I’m going to be brutally honest, I was a little disappointed. I LOVE these books usually, and the quality was great but the story itself was kind of meh. It did do a decent job telling the Easter story, I just think the way it was set up could definitely have been better. My kids (5 and 3) enjoyed it when I read it to them on Easter but never revisited it after.

Great as a Gift
Got this as a part of a baptism gift for a friend's child and it was such a lovely addition. It's very cute and makes the perfect gift. Well worth it for the price and great for children and a home collection if you want to have one in your home.

Ok but just one detail off
Great condensed, child-friendly version of a very difficult but critical story. My one grouse is that it says an evil judge sentenced Jesus to death, implying that Pilate was solely to blame. It helps to simplify the story but I feel that it also takes away an important aspect of it, Pilate's personal turmoil and unwillingness to be a part of Jesus' death and the accountability of the Jewish religious leaders and the crowd.
