Great!
This toy is great! U can use battlechips! Just like the show! Here are some places that u can get some chips:With The FiguresWith The Pet (duh)[...][...]And u can modify chips! (thanks to [...]) What imean is that you can make any chip that you want! And the number on each chip is the number one the chip. Say u want to collect all 300 chips, you would go by that number! Email me at [email protected] if you have any other questions. =P

For the Megaman lover
My 9 year old got this for his birthday and he was very excited. He just loves Megaman. But he played with it for a few days and that was it. He said that you really need to have two so that you can battle each other. Also, something we did right away that I would also recommend was to tie the chips together with the toy so that they don't get lost.

Megaman Pet
My kid was looking this toy for a long time since this is not produced anymore and it is more like a colectible. We are happy to finally got it. It is working properly. Looking at the picture of the original toy looks like a feature is missing(like a cover that protect the screen)Anyway I am happy with the toy and with Amazon service.Best regards,Arturo Garcia Arias

Junk
I purchased this item a while ago. It was a waste of my money. Just another item that laid around and eventually was given no attention. Crappy material. Crappy product

Good idea..... but patience is everything!
This is a great idea for a toy! Who hasn't wanted to netbattle with actual battlechips AND program advances? But here's the catch: A new PET toy was just announced a few weeks ago. It is NOT the advanced PET 2. It is called the Progress PET. It is exponentially better than this one. The Progress PET (PP) looks more like a regular handheld game system. Battlechips are put in through the side instead of the top. It gives you the ability to customize the navi inside. It also appears to let you use other navis besides megaman. (note: I'm not 100% sure on this. One of the pictures shows a megaman battlechip being put in, implying that is is NOT for soul unisons and is NOT a navi attack chip). But, best of all, The PP actually comes with a full fledged Battle Network game!!! The cord on the PP contains a magnet so when you put it up to something metal, it 'jacks in' and you get to walk around the cyberworld just like a Battle Network game! Who knew you had a cyberworld in your oven? The battles take place in the exact same manner as the normal BN games. You move around your half of a 6x3 board, and use battlechips in real time. It also will feature link-up capability to the upcoming MMBN5. Of course, you can still hook them up and battle your friends.

THE BEST(...)TOY EVER!!! (except for the 'interactive astro boy' there about the same)
OMG! this is sssssoooo cool! it's so much fun. The only down side is that u have 2 shake it a lllloooooonngggg time 2 actually fight the viruses, but it's really worth it. The goal is to shake it enough to find a virus, but then u plug in battle chips, Things u can use to battle (get them in toys, booster packs, and with pets'), and use them to defeat the virus. But plan you're strategy well, because if u die, u go into recovery phase and can't battle until ur healed. (u have to shake a LOT to heal. once, I walked around my whole neiborhood, and it still wasn't healed.) And even though he can't ACTUALLY talk to u, he's still my best friend.

EXPLAINING Whats Bad and Whats Good
A review by Kole.I thought about getting the Megaman PET for a long time. And finally one day I decided to buy it. I broght it home and opened it up (Please readers, see directions before using, don't waste your time). The directions said to shake the PET up and down to find a virus. I shook and shook and shook for ever! it took me about 15 minutes or more to find a virus. Finally, a battle! Well the battle was suprisingly short and hard, it was fun for the minute it lasted though. Also, the screen show the same animation for any chips you use. Wide sword will show Megaman shooting, everything will. But what was cool was that the virus's move on a 3 by 3 grid that you must move where your attack is and press fire when on the virus (this can be tricky). It's very cheesy and the sound effects annoying, but this all adds to a tense, rushed effect. What I mean by rushed is every thing is timed in a net battle, putting a chip in, targeting the virus's. Once I expectedly died, it took forever to revive Megaman. It took about 30 minutes of shaking to get his energy bar to 6, that is, out of 10! And I read in the directions that it takes longer the more advanced Megaman is. So, if you're looking for a video game, this aint for you. But if you have the patience and the time, this toy can be fun. I would wait until the Progress PET or the PET 2 comes out. They are this only much more advanced! So, in the end I'm not dissing this toy, or saying it's totally awsome, it's all a matter of opinion.

Works okay for this price level
Son loved it for Christmas present. Quality is okay, but that's the chance you take on these types of items.
