What I noticed first about the new dBR-D1-32G voice recorder is the sturdy box. Inside that is a protective cushion encasing the device to keep it safe in transit. It comes with a pair of decent in-earphones, and a file transfer/recharging wire.If you are extremely prompt (activate within seven days!) the warranty card activation gets you a 2 year warranty! If you’re slow, 1 year—I was too slow in getting to this. The box includes a paper instruction booklet and a card with the web address or QR code if you’re using your phone to set it up.READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL FIRST!I say this because if it wasn’t necessary, they wouldn’t have included it. The risk of losing data is increased exponentially if you don’t follow the procedures outlined inside. I also cannot say enough about setting the date and time correctly. This process is also covered in the booklet. If you do this, you could manage your recorded sound files by date. I failed to do this correctly in the past with other devices and it adds confusion when your just recorded data has a date stamp from 18 months ago.There are a number of ways to record and listen to the device as well as delete files, without the aid of a computer, which is very handy anytime but especially when you’re traveling. Or, you could transfer them to the expansion disc freeing up space on your device.The dBR-D1-32G recorder comes with 32 gigs of internal space for recording! That’s 4x what my other recording devices hold. Also there is an expansion disc port (micro disc not included)The recorder has a sturdy exterior case, and a little heft to it making it feel worth the money you’ve paid for it. It’s nice looking and the buttons are labeled by function.I like the illuminated window where icons indicate a number of important things: which mode you’re in, battery life, and the digital time of the current recording or track. The well-written booklet explains many other features in greater detail.The sound is very clear for play back. There was some distortion at the top end volumes which was louder than I would normally listen to it. The volume control was great though ear buds and there was very little distortion at higher levels, but that has more to do with earphones. All my clients have been duly impressed by the sound given the size.This would be great for those who listen to speakers, college lectures or journalists who want to capture every word of an interview. I like this device because while biking, camping, or hiking, I can carry podcasts, audio books, or my entire music collection with me and still have plenty of recording space all in one device. It’s small enough to carry in a shirt pocket, fanny- or back pack.It would make a great gift idea for students, journalists, interviewers, speakers and thought leaders. This dBR-D1-32G is my new favorite. I highly recommend it for size, quality, value, and ease of use.

This was a gift from my step-daughter and it's truly an amazing little recorder. I've been a professional audio engineer and media forensics expert legal witness for over 40 years and I've owned a lot of microrecorders (all the way back to the horrible microtape days)...the DB9Pro is without a doubt the best I've ever used! The battery life is amazing, the storage capacity is generous, and the audio quality is superb. I had to record some audio from a distance of 100 feet to prove a legal point for a case I was working on and this little recorder picked up everything I needed very clearly, even from that distance. I know the battery capacity is amazing because during this same experiment I accidentally left the recorder running for over 24 hours straight and it barely put a dent in the battery charge indicator. You can't go wrong with the DB9Pro! Buy it! Buy it now! You will never regret it...

I am extremely happy with my purchase. This is a great product. It is small, sleek, and compact with material used looks to be strong and durable. It records with excellent sound quality and has a long battery life. I have used this device continuously for more than 6 hrs. without draining the battery much. I also loved the packaging and the how to use instructions which can be easily accessed and viewed in YouTube by simply scanning the QR code provided in the thank you card which comes inside the package. I would highly recommend this product!

I purchased it as a memory device and opportunity to review conversations for anything missed. It is the easiest device I have to operate. It has proven to be better than expected. It is very discreet begging the question of legality. So, I put it on the table for all to see and approve/reject. After COVID19, aging, mills, present day boxing, and loud music, I need a backup.

Great buy! Records with great clarity. Good to turn down volume slightly during recording for better clarity when playing back. Don't speak close to speaker when recording. It will sound distorted on play back.Play-back sound is great! Easy to use as well. Battery life is great! Great Price..very pleased with purchase.

I was so in love with this recorder for the first 2-3 weeks. Then I started getting lost recordings. Let's say I wanted to record a full day of 20 hours (which mostly worked fine), I was only getting like half-hour recordings, most of the time it was not recorded! I lost many days of recordings because of this flaw!

I prefer the sound quality and its portability.

Exceptional little device.Little but powerful, their would be no doubts that you will be able to record what ever situation you feel you may need it for.Play back and listening to the recording I’m impressed I can hear every detail being spoke and all the background noise in a place that’s prob 60 000 sq ft open conceptCrisp recording.Had doubts but am now truly happy with the purchase and would definitely by another if I had to. Idont think you’d be doing that anytime soon Though and that’s cause of the construction of the device.Metal casting very well built and strong their is nothing cheap about it very well done amazing quality and exceptional serviceThe only issue I found was they should give 2 for one deals upon purchase. LolIt’s worth a try. Lol

Das Gerät hat sehr lange gedauert zu liefern, dann stellte sich raus das ist ein altes gebrauchtes Gerät von 2019 da waren Text Dateien drauf vom August 2019. Dann kommt es aus Amerika und dorthin sollte man das zurücksenden, man kann davon nur abraten zu bestellen.

作りがアルミでしっかりしていて安物感がなく品質がよさそう。サイズが小さいのでペンケースにいれっぱなしにしてますが、充電のもちがとてもよくバッテリーがぜんぜん減らないので買ってよかった。カバンの中からでも録音できた。

Works well, no complaints!!

I love:- cast alloy metal shell (she’s tough)- 5-6 days straight recording time (highest quality settings), 3 days straight battery life.- You can record while it’s recharging from a USB block, it will however start a new file the moment you plug it in.- The LONGEST BATTERY LIFE of any recorder I’ve ever found. (Seriously it’s awesome)- Microphone quality is good.- The device keeps its internal time really well over many weeks.Things that aren’t bad or good:- maximum file length is 12:25:39 (h:m:s) 2.15GB (before they recorder starts a new file).- There is approximately a 2-3 second gap between files.- Files are stored as .WAV files.- If you shut the recording down using the power switch (and not the proper recording switch) it can leave an unfinished file, VLC will play its no problem, but other programs may have issues.I don’t love:- no builtin format option to format internal/SD storage (could be fixed with a firmware update in the future though)- Sometimes if I leave the device in my pocket either the Pause button or one of the switches will accidentally get pressed stopping the recording. I solved this by removing the plastic button inserts.Overall I really love the recording time, battery life, strong build, and reliability of this device. I now own 3.
