I got these 3 years ago for my freshman year of college and they have never failed me. The colors are great and the remote is easy to use. They are the perfect length for half a dorm room and don’t look bulky. I have used mine almost daily and have had no problems. The box is super small and easy to pack for moving. The perfect lights for college!

These aren't bad lights for the price. A couple of notes: you cannot do anything with the lights without the remote. If you lose the remote, these lights won't even turn on. These lights do not come with an adapter to plug it into the wall. Luckily I have a bunch of old cell phone charger adapters that a USB outlet will fit into so that I can plug these lights into a standard wall outlet. There are a wide variety of colors, but some of them look pretty darn close to the others. There are 4 different settings to toggle through: Flash, Strobe, Fade, and Smooth. Flash and Fade are the only two that toggle through all of the colors. Strobe only uses the white light color, and Smooth is the exact same feature as Flash except Smooth only uses three colors: red, green, and blue. I was hoping I'd have the option to select a specific color followed by a color feature such as Flash or Strobe. For example, I'd like the orange color to flash. So I select the orange color on the remote then select Flash. But, it doesn't allow that to happen. When you select Flash, it only will flash through all of the colors repeatedly. So the light features I mentioned are set to default colors and cannot be changed if you're using those light features. Otherwise, I can select the orange color and the light is just permanently on using the orange color I selected versus flashing or fading in the orange color.

There are many of these mini wire lights here on Amazon and I looked over, read reviews on many before deciding to purchased this one. I knew they were small but I didn't realize just how small they were/are until I received them. *See my photo collage: It shows box, remote inside, and the wound up wire string of lights (near a pen for size comparison), and the lights on in my bedroom (with purple color/setting selected) -but NOTE- they look brighter in the photo than they actually are.Still these mini-lights do have a decent amount of light/brightness for how small they are. The variety of colors is nice, though many are not the true hue shown on the remote and colors are lighter, whiter in hue. There's a couple buttons or functions on the remote that DO NOT work!, AND after using it only a couple times the remote battery died and I had to find & buy a replacement battery! It's a decent length, but the individual lights are widely spaced apart - 3.50" of empty, unlit areas, which is why I left mine more in the coiled position they came in. -They need more lights on the wire/string and less empty, unlit spaces! Also, having read reviews where others said the wire broke & indeed they don't seem very strong I decided it's probably best NOT to move, bend, handle them too much! ..AND Be Careful of your young kids & pets possibly playing with, chewing/biting, and/or getting tangled in these of any string or wire lights! Another thing that's annoying is when I have these lights on and I'm using a couple of buttons on my tv/cable remote in the same room the lights will often blink off-on & even have changed colors. I paid $14 for these and I do NOT believe this product is worth that price...perhaps a reasonable price would be $10 -& that's if everything worked as it should & if it had more lights on it.

The media could not be loaded.  First off, only listed to the video with volume up if you want to hear my aggressive breathing in the background.I'm not going to lie, I was really shooting for this product to do really well, but its just ok. I gave it 4 stars because I 3.5 isn't an option and I figured I should round up. The lights themselves are pretty good, but like most people who order these, it seems as though the end of the line is significantly dimmer than the beginning. The remote is pretty good, but it seems like the smooth and strobe options should be switched, and I was expecting a warm white color, not the blue-white that shows up when pressing the white button. And lastly, the purple definitely isn't really showing up like purple, and honestly the yellow looks more like an orange to me, but that might just be me.Overall it's an ok product with minor issues, so if you want a lot of lights for a cheaper price, I'd say this is an ok deal, but if you want something perfect, you might want to keep looking. The company itself is very nice though and has good customer service, so I would also recommend these because of that.

This product would be better without having to use a usb, but is really nice for simple LED lights. Most of the lights are true to color but there are some duplicates it seems. The remote is easy to use and understand. They’re very pretty and seem to last a long time!

I put up a year-around holiday tree in my home and change decorations according to holidays or the season. I needed lights and thought it would be nice to have the option of changing the colors, according to the holiday/season. That is what interested me in the Kosly Fairy String Lights. Although the description pointed out that the white lights are more of a light blue, that is a fact. I wish it was white. The description also states, "16 variety colors." Several of the colors with varying shades, such as blue and green, appear to be identical or almost unnoticeable in color. Regardless, it has all the colors I wanted, including the option of rotating colors every few seconds. I like the option of the adjustable brightness and modes to go from flashing, strobe, fade and smooth, in addition to the optional timer. However, we typically leave the lights on 24/7. The price was also very reasonable. If I needed more lights for another reason, I would certainly consider purchasing more.
