This is perfect for my first tripod. I bought it mostly to use with my Cell phone since it takes better pictures and video than my Canon T2i DSLR. It is good for a first timer. Very easy to use.

I am writing this review after using this one for 2 years. Overall, this tripod is good around $20-$30 range, light, easy to adjust. The downside of this tripod is that it's very easy to break because the tripod is made by aluminum. I already broke it after using it for 2 year. However, it's a reasonable price for 2 year used. Looking for buying a new one soon!

Clamps that keep legs extended are very cheaply made, they DO NOT WORK. Get another tripod, this one is lightweight and flimsy, definitely not worth it.

While I have not yet used it in the field with a camera, and fully tested its functionality, I have evaluated it from the standpoint of features and ease of use. It is of plastic construction, and has workable leg locks. The triple leg supports join at the center leg holding the camera, and a quick twist tightens the legs in place. There are also two handy leveling bubbles: one on top of one leg, and the other at the edge of the camera plate. This is a handy way of judging the vertical and horizontal balance of camera and tripod. It certainly beats carrying separate leveling bubbles such as those used in the construction industry, and even the smallest of those are quite large in relation to the controls. The only reason I gave it a "4" is its plastic material. The user needs to be aware of that feature and be careful of hard use and the light weight of the device, especially if the camera is heavy or has a long length lens which might cause an imbalance which the plastic cannot compensate for with its own weight.

Complete junk - very disappointed. Ordered one arrived broken. Next one same thing and could not return.
