Great boot, poor tread
I've had this boot for a few years now and wear it almost exclusively in the winter. I usually wait awhile to write reviews because I want to really USE something before confidently saying I love or hate it. This boot earns a solid 4 stars for me.Positives:- super warm in the winter- water proof- roomy so you can wear thick socks (I'd say it runs .5 size large)- tall enough so you never worry about snow/rain coming inNegatives:- terrible tread. I'm not sure who thought this thread was adequate for getting traction in the snow, but they're wrong. It causes for a lot of slipping and sliding around.- lack of traction on snow (again - really poor tread)If you compare this to the same boot in men's the men's boots have the BEST winter boot tread.Don't get me wrong - I really like these boots, they're sturdy and have lasted well for years, but I really dislike gliding on snow when I'm trying to walk in the winter.

For kids, order one size up and add a sheepskin shoe insert for this year. Remove insert next year.
These boots are warm, waterproof, and long-lasting. Each member of my family has a pair. My boy is growing fast so I ordered one size up and added a sheepskin shoe insert this year. The boots feel snug and comfortable. Next year I'll remove the shoe insert and the boot will fit perfectly. I've does this three times and I get two years out of each pair. The boots are hardy and don't wear out so I hand them down, sheepskin inserts and all, to our younger friends.

They're cute!
Oh my dog, these are better than I imagined! They're high quality, cute- I have 17 inch juicy calves and these boots actually FIT! I have a little more room for growth if for some reason I gained weight, they would still fit... but I'm hoping they don't get any bigger than they already are! I'm not a hefty girl. You can see in the pics- but I'm not like a popsicle stick either. These boots are chunky, but they aren't overwhelming. They had a new rubber boot smell right out of the box but that quickly died down. The neoprene is a little stretchy. It is warm inside the boots! No steel toes though. They have rugged bottoms! I love these boots! They are cute enough to wear to class and anywhere! The reason I purchased these is because we're expecting a wetter and possibly very snowy season for this winter. It's already been raining a lot and it's been a huge turn-off to walk on campus without rain boots- plus it would be cold outside which makes it worse! I needed combo boots: waterproof and pretty much "winter proof". I already own like 4 pairs of knee-high casual leather boots, but they are not safe in icy conditions and I didn't want to ruin them. I have wide feet and I know how it feels when trying to find the perfect pair of shoes- these boots have more room in them if for some reason my feet decided to get bigger or swell... More room! I wear a size 8.5 and I got a size 9. They do run big! These fit like my size 10 boots do! I don't advise in getting a size 2 sizes smaller... If you want to wear winter socks in them, don't order the boots in a smaller size that is smaller than you normally wear. if you plan to work in them for hours or all day, you feet may naturally swell and they do need room for that in your boots, so don't get boots that are so tight you have no room for swelling. Seriously! These boots fit me just fine. I don't have any complaints yet because I JUST received them about an hour ago. Will update after a good bit of use.

Horrible tread for anyone who wants to walk in winter.
These boots do not have any traction/treads for snow. The men’s do. I just compared my tread in the snow with my husband's and his are much deeper. I slip in snow, I slip on the road. Thankfully today, I had my hiking sticks which saved me twice. My first pair of bogg boots were fine. These are not. Do not buy these, if you plan on walking in snow. Also, I do not believe the temperature rating is correct. My feet never got cold in my first pair and are continually cold in this pair. I gave them a whole year, before writing this review. I am very disappointed.

No traction on ice, don’t meet temperature specs.
Good fit. Not warm enough though- my toes were numb in minutes, in 20° f winter weather despite being in thick 100% wool socks. Also, these offer so little traction on ice that if i had had more money, I’d have returned and purchased a different brand. I expect my winter boots to meet their descriptions, and give at least a LITTLE grip on ice. Because unless you live in the south, winter includes ice. I needed these for winter, but they’re good for waterlogged ground, marshy land and will be useful on chilly rainy days. Thing is, I already have boots for those things and didn’t need another pair. If I had, i wouldn’t have bought WINTER boots. I hoped for more from Bogs, especially at these prices.

Great in snow, good traction, warm, good looking & feel good.
Got size 8 & I usually wear an 8. They are all VEGAN materials! I'm really enjoying these. Almost returned them because they are snug in the bottom ankle area which I wasn't used to, but it gets easier to take on & off after a few times. I have only gone down to 7 degrees & they are warm if you have a full length athletic insert inside. That helps a lot. They are roomy enough for that & wear thick sox too, of course! I think they'll be fine below Zero, but I'll revisit after temps drop further. They look really nice with jeans. They are a tich higher than most snow boots which looks nice, almost like a riding boot. I was just sledding in them & they were great! They are decent on ice too. Good traction.

Love these winter boots!
My husband bought these for me as a Christmas gift as my new job has me working in Wisconsin every other week. I got to try these out in heavy snow and fell in love with them. They are warm, comfortable, and easy to walk in. I love that they fit snug to my calf and actually fit my larger than normal calf. (17.5”). I usually wear a 9, but went up to a 10 so I can wear thick socks. Otherwise, I would recommend they are true to size.

Disappointed
I was disappointed with these boots. The calf was really tight and I feel I'm pretty average size and never had that problem before. Also walking in them felt awkward and there was no tread. I needed a boot for snow, mud, and walking through a creek or puddles.Returned and bought a pair of muck boots.

Finally a wellie that fits and it's comfortable!... Or so I thought
I work outdoors, I am 5ft 1" and have size 4 feet. I find it so very difficult to find work wear and safety wear to fit. I have bought 3 pairs of Wellies this week. Firstly, Aigle Parcours 2 ISO, these were too long in the leg, they came up to around mid knee. Tayberry Mallard were also too long in the leg. I bought these boots in a size 3 and 3.5 as the size 4's were way too big. THESE BOGS on the other hand ARE AMAZING!! They say size 4 and they fit my size 4 feet. Finally! And slightly shorter in the leg length so they fit in that respect too. I am taking them out doing some pond work tomorrow so hopefully they will perform as well as they look and feel.My only complaint is that this was the only boot like this in a size 4 I could find the in UK. Please keep them coming over here too!!**Sadly after wearing them out and about they rubbed quite badly. Two big blisters. I think in hindsight the fit is too snug.Recommend going one size bigger in these boots**

Wasted my money
Comes up way too small;other EU sizing comparable to UK 4 are 38 so why the discrepancy.Wasted my money.

Great boots, VERY warm and perfect for winter.
I live on a farm in Sk so need a good waterproof boot rated -40. These were recommended to me on a FB women in agriculture page. They didn't disappoint. VERY warm, excellent grip in Icey conditions, easy to slip on. I'm a shoe sized 8 and I bought 9's and wear a thick winter sock with them. They're so comfy and lightweight too. Very good boot.

Warmest boots ever!
I have wide feet and normally wear a size 7. These fit a tiny bit on the big side but are SO comfortable. Canadian winter is no match for these boots. Not once did my feet ever get cold! Lived in them all winter long.

Fell apart after normal wear with year
*update* under bogs warranty they said they are sending another pair. Thank you Bogs. I purchased these Bogs for myself not even a year ago from here and the back around the ankles inside has already fallen apart in both boots and I am now getting blisters and they cannot be worn. For bogs which are extremely expensive boots this was a huge dissapointment. I bought a second pair last month for my daughter. I wish I hadn’t now.
