How far up will tgis stand lift of a 65 vizio?

I have a13 inch clearance on my Sony 65 inch with the 80 inch stand. I could go up another 2 or 3 inches the stand itself adjusts 3 times, the screw on brackets on the back add quite bit of adjustment depending on which hole you use. I keep my Polk center channel , 10 inches high, on the glass base.

So a 70 pound tv would be to heavy for tgis stand ?

YES, for the stand. The STAND itself only supports 55 lbs. ; the MOUNT supports 110 lbs. Take the mount and put it on a wall and 70 lbs. would be fine. Not on this stand, though.
