Making a noticeable improvement in our pond
I upgraded our partially plugged 12" diffuser with this 15" one. I use it to aerate a 1/4" acre pond with a Gast air pump. It made a noticeable improvement in a short period of time. The pond had been murky all summer. After installation, the pond began to clear up within a couple weeks. It's still not back to itself completely, but the extra oxygen is helping. The old 12" diffuser used to inflate from not being quite able to handle the pump's cfm. This one doesn't do that. It handles it well, and makes about a 2' diameter column of bubbles when placed 13' deep.
