Good enough for a slight incline I’m dealing with near the mountainside. I have not and would not test it out on a cliff. I’ll spend more for the real thing if that were the case. This is good enough for your average Joe to help prevent slips or falls in places a few feet up too high for comfort. Easy to use and properly store. Recommend buying a Ring and other accessories to ascend/ descend.

My husband bought this to trim some trees in our yard. He said the following: "It does the job well. It is adjustable, but could use a little more adaptability. It's funny getting on, but once it's on, it is pretty comfortable. The connector loops for attaching to the tree are solid. The accessory loops are very handy. For only using it a few times each year, it is perfect for the price."

The harness is well made, but there are not metal side rings (as shown), and the back support is too tall, so it continuiously rides down. Also, to tighten the legs and waist straps takes an act of congress. A quick disconnect would be a huge improvement.

This seat is very durable, comfortable and easy to adjust. I highly recommend it for the price.

This is a great harness for the weekend gaffer.
