Chair Glides X-PROTECTOR – 0.75" Furniture Glides 40 PCS

These Teflon sliders work as advertised as they make my new heavy wooden dining chairs slide effortlessly. We tried felt pads earlier, but they didn’t help with trying to move the chairs around at all. I took the felt pads and OEM protective feet off and replaced them with these Teflon glides and that was it. I can even move my chair when I am sitting on it by using a scooting motion! It’s that good. Thanks!

Great improvement over the small nylon glides that were on these stools. The larger pad at 1" diameter along with the teflon outer pad make for much smoother chair movement. Follow the directions for installation and drill a small hole (slightly smaller than the nail that is embedded in the pad) and use a small hammer to drive them in. I'm hoping they will last a few years but even if we only get a year out of them they are easily replaced.

The ceramic tile grout lines kept shredding the felt glides on my kitchen chairs. Replacing the felt has to be done far too often, so I decided to try teflon glides instead. These glide very nicely on ceramic tiles and I'm hoping they last longer than the felt glides. The only issue I had with these is that the nails for the old felt guides was larger in diameter than the nails in these. Rather than hammer these into a different location and have off-centered glides, all I had to do was stick a toothpick in the existing hole, snap it off flush with the chair leg and hammer the new glides into the same hole. Worked great and only took me 10-15 minutes to do 6 chairs.

These are made well; the best ones I've found. The size fits perfectly. They look good. I purchased the 40 piece; however, I only received 36.

Best for chairs and small tables. Pre-drill and glue for best results. Nothing glides as good on wood floor.

The glides work just fine. Pre-drilling a pilot hole prior to nailing the glide on made installation effortlessly. The glides perform as expected making my chair glide smoothly across the carpeting. The box was taped together with consumer "Scotch" tape which struck me as odd. Upon opening I found that the plastic bag had been torn open with a hole large enough to remove gliders pieces. The packaging makes me suspect that this was a returned package that had been open and then sold as new goods. If so a very bad showing indeed.

They work very well and stay on our chair legs. I am very happy with them.

Hammered them into wooden chair legs to stop horrible squeaking sound when they get moved on our tile floor. Chairs also slide across more easily
