National Tree Company 7.5ft Unlit Kingswood Fir Slim Christmas Tree

I’ve never had an artificial tree, Was never a fan, but needed one this year. Small space meant it would have to be a slim tree. After reading reviews, I decided to take a chance on this tree. I am so impressed with the quality and the fullness of the tree, not to mention ease of assembly!! Reviewers who complained it didn’t look like the photo simply did not truly fluff the branches. I watched the brief instructional video on the website and went to town. Yes, it takes a bit of time, but it was easy effort and I enjoyed doing it. I found that after spreading the branches, it helped to alternately tweak them a bit up and down as well. This did a great job of filling any “see through” spots. The top vertical branch will not support a heavy topper, but we solved this by “standing” out topper on the uppermost branches. Not a huge problem at all. I did not buy prelit, as I already have many strings of lights. They were easily strung on the branches. I wish I’d though to take a photo at the start, but you can see part of the middle section before fluffing. And then the finished product. This tree was an excellent value, and perfect for a smaller space. We highly recommend.

I got the 7 foot tree. It is not pre-lit. I have a very small house and it fit perfectly. It was great to have such a nice looking tree. It holds a lot of ornaments. The price is excellent and I feel the quality is great. It is easy to put together and the stand is sturdy. If you want it to look nice, you have to take your time putting it together. It goes together easily, and there are enough branches for a full look. However, you need to have patience fluffing out the branches. You will have to carefully separate each one and strategically spread them nicely for a full look. This is true for any "fake" tree you purchase. If you find you have bald spots, try spreading the branches a little better. I recommend a bottom-up approach. Put your tree in the middle of the room and start fluffing on the bottom branch and work your way up. I didn't stack the tree first. I worked on the bottom section and added as I worked up. These branches are staggered so they look more natural. When you are ready to put it away it fits into the box.

Downsized and our 2 yr old large 8' full size pre lit just doesn't fit the only space available now. Ordered this beautiful artificial slim Christmas tree 6'.5" (with no lights) Kingswood. It arrived on time. Was on a great sale price after Cyber Monday $49. and looks amazing shaped out arranging branches with just warm white lights we added tonight. It's a very full slim tree with lots of branches and you can definitely shape it out to look full & there are a lot of needle coated branches to shape out to lots of taste specific looks. If you've had an artificial tree before you know some needles "shed" we have light grey blue carpet and none fell off. None laying in the box. So it's well worth the price for a very nice full plush slim tree. Stability tested metal stand it's not moving and we've got it on a wooden solid platform base we use with all our trees. We're adding a decorative collar instead of the skirt we have just for a more finished look. Absolutely love this tree. People use the word fluffing however shaping branches arranging makes it very full. Absolutely happy with this purchase and we're all pleased with the appearance.

Honestly surprised at the high quality given the price. Well put together - easy to manipulate to fill gaps. Easy to put up but don't expect miracles without spending a bit of time arranging branches to get a full tree. Also expect to spend time getting it back into the box or bag at the end of the season. Especially the mid and lower sections. A five star tree, except... ...this is not what I would consider a "slim" Christmas tree. Definitely fuller than expected. This is my idea of a standard-sized Christmas tree. It's actually larger in diameter than my fresh spruce tree. I should have measured it out, but thought slim meant slim. I sacrificed the bottom section in order to fit the smaller space I had for it. The top and middle sections make an adorable 5.5 of so foot tree. Not perfect, (it wobbles a little), but it works. If the bottom section had roughly the same diameter of the middle section it would have been an absolutely perfect slim tree. Even though it wasn't what was expected, I decided to keep it because of the quality. As far as artificial trees go, this is a lovely tree.

I have been looking for a slim (but tall) realistic looking artificial tree to dress up the new office/library space in my home. I've looked at Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, Big Lots, TreeClassics, and HomeDecorators (these last two are online only stores). While I found some trees that would work, none were as slim as I wanted (I was looking for a tree with a base width of approximately 30" rather than 36") and most that were at the height I wanted (7.5') were priced between $150-$300, which was simply more than I wanted to spend. The less expensive trees that I saw just looked cheap and fake. Because I have plenty of strands of lights already, a pre-lit tree was not a requirement. I finally found this one on Amazon, and based on the reviews and pictures, decided to order it. I'm very pleased that I made this decision! This tree arrives in a box measuring 39"L x 11"W x12"D. The box is made of a thick, heavy cardboard that can be used for storage after the holidays, which will fit easily into a closet or basement storage space. My 10-year-old son and I unpacked the tree and had it assembled in place in about five minutes; set up was simple. The tree consists of three sections and has a small stand. The bottom two sections have hinged branches that basically fall open into place once the tree is upright. The top section has grouped branches for the bottom third and single branches above these that are attached directly to the center pole and can be bent down into the position you desire. There is an eye screw in the stand to stabilize the tree once it is assembled. The branches are well constructed, with realistic needles. There was very little needle shedding during set up. Right out of the box and placed upright, the tree looks nothing like what is pictured in the listing. There are huge gaps between the branches, and it looks very strange; each branch must be "fluffed" by opening up the individual pieces on each branch from their compressed state. My son and I only spent about 20 minutes "fluffing" the branches after standing it up. My photos show what the tree looked like after we were done with this initial set up. We have a 7.5' artificial green Alpine fir that we use in our family room (purchased about 14 years ago from TreeClassics) and have found that the best method for making these trees look full is to start with the innermost section of each branch (the part closest to the center post) and push open into a modified star or flower shape, so that the inner pieces are spread wider than the outer section pieces (see close-up photo). I will continue to "fluff" the branches a bit more, until I'm fully satisfied with the way it looks, but I expect that I won't need to spend any more than an extra 10-15 minutes on it. You can see from my pictures that the naked tree doesn't look quite as full as the picture shown in the Amazon listing, but once I finish "fluffing" it and add the lights and ornaments, I'm sure that it will look great; I will update my review with additional pictures once the tree is fully decorated. At the time of my purchase (in mid-November 2016), I paid the FULL price of $76. I did not receive any discount, nor was I given any incentive for leaving this review.

This artificial tree exceeded my expectations. It looks full, realistic, and well-made, with sturdy branches that hold ornaments nicely. Assembly was straightforward, and fluffing the branches was easy and made a big difference in how natural it looks. Once set up, it truly resembles a real tree without the mess of needles or watering. It’s a great value for the quality and will definitely last for many seasons. I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it

Wow. First, I have bought numerous artificial Christmas trees over the years. Too many to count. Every time we move we need a new tree to fit the space. We have been in this house for a while and it is awful for providing a good space for tree on the main level. I’ve been using a tree in a space that it was too big for but always thought smaller trees looked cheaper, I loved my tree. Because of the deal on this tree, thought I would try it and if I didn’t like it I would stick in the loft. Wow!!!!! I was impressed as soon as I was setting it up!! No needles on the floor? I never thought this was possible!! Needles always fall from my trees when I’m fluffing. Only a couple fell during the process. After I fluffed the tree, which took exactly 30 minutes, there were no holes! NO HOLES! Very full!!! And it fit our one and only spot on our main level perfectly. It is a skinny tree but not too skinny. Just right. It still fit all my ornaments and so I am a very happy elf. So happy I just bought a second one to replace the tree in my loft. Pre lit trees are awful, never last, then you have string lights on a pre lit tree which drives me crazy. If this tree is the size you need, do not hesitate to buy. And the deal is amazing!!!

Listen to the reviews!!! I read every review and considered every aspect of what people said. I LOVE this tree!! Yes... you HAVE to fluff the branches out properly to make it full, but it really doesn't take long at all. My favorite thing about this tree is that the branches are strong!! It has no problem holding ALL of my ornaments. I did put a 4 lb tree topper on the top of it and that required a little stuffing and finagling because of the weight of the topper, but definitely doable with a little effort. This tree is soooo cute and exactly what we were looking for!! I put it up as soon as I got it just to check quality/size. Then I took it down and then put it up for real a couple weeks later. Set up and take down were simple. Some people had mentioned the tree was crooked. Yes, it was a tad crooked out of the box, I just reached in there and bent it straight- easy peasey. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! If you've been thinking about this one- do it!!!!

I decided to write this review to help others with answers to questions I had about this tree. First off...this tree is fantastic for the price! I shopped around for quite awhile before deciding to purchase this tree. I went to Michael's, Canadian Tire, Wal Mart, and no one carried a slim tree in 7.5ft with a 30inch base (width), and under $200! It was shipped quickly (arrived in 2 days with Prime) and zero damage to the box or the contents inside. I found assembly quick, and easy (an hour at the most), and the tree is light, and easy to manoeuvre, I didn't need my husbands help during any point. When you first open the box...you may be shocked at how compact, and sparse the tree looks but as you put it together, and shape the branches section by section the tree will begin to come to life! Yes...you need to spend some time fluffing each branch, but if you take your time, and do this step...the tree WILL look as full as the picture. Upon reading reviews regarding this tree I decided to order the 7.5ft (we have 8ft ceilings) as a few people mentioned that the tree isn't true to height, and I can attest to that. The tree (once in it's stand set up and fluffed) is more like 7ft. The top of the tree has a 5 to 6inch long branch that is quite flimsy...and you will need to fold up some of the other branches to support an angel or star. Onto the tree stand....I agree with other reviews that this stand is cheap...and even when screwed in tightly it doesn't support the tree very well. You may also need to fiddle with the tree to try and get it straight in the stand. I personally will be buying a new stand for this tree. After the set up was complete, I was impressed with how realistic is looks, and was shocked at the fact that absolutely no needles were on the floor...AMAZING! I'm very pleased with this purchase, and would highly recommend this tree for the price, the size and shape, and ease of assembly. Well worth the money!
