Nice, not worth 45 dollars
Very nice, a deep and glossy black which is what we were wanting. Not as comfortable as the Kohler one we removed, and there are some chips along the back edge and slight imperfections along the lid top, almost like buffer burn marks. Well with 25 dollars, 45 is pushing it

Budget-friendly but falls short in several key areas
Overview A budget-friendly black soft-close toilet seat that falls short in several key areas but might work as a temporary solution if you're specifically looking for an affordable soft-close option in black. Pros * Affordable price point * Black color option * Soft-close feature included Cons * Poor plastic quality - very thin material * Flimsy construction * Soft-close mechanism needs manual assistance - Seat lacks sufficient weight to close properly on its own - Requires pushing down to initiate closing * Quality control issues - Visible manufacturing marks on the seat surface - Subpar finish Value for Money While this is one of the few soft-close black toilet seats available in this price range, the compromises in quality are significant. The low price point comes with notable sacrifices in durability and functionality. Bottom Line This toilet seat is a classic case of "you get what you pay for." While functional, it falls short of expectations in terms of build quality and mechanism performance. Consider this as a temporary solution if budget constraints are your primary concern and you specifically need a black soft-close seat. Be prepared for potential durability issues in the long term. Purchase Decision Keeping the product for now due to limited alternatives in the price range, but will monitor durability over time.

Junk
Complete pile of junk. Flimsy and toes not fit my particular elongated toilet (Lowe’s project source) I’d imagine after a few weeks of sitting on the closed lid putting on my socks it will break. Way overpriced for what it is. Do not buy
