I have been looking for a high-quality writing desk pen. I leave it at my workspace, and the weight, feel, and smooth writing are so good that I bought a second one for my backup workspace. It arrives in very nice packaging and has a high-quality feel all the way through.

Update: The company reached out after seeing my review and sent me replacement ink free of charge. The new ink has been working perfectly with no skipping or inconsistent flow. I already loved the look and feel of the pen, and now I can fully enjoy writing with it. I really appreciate the company standing behind its product and making things right! I really like the look and feel of this pen, but the ink flow is inconsistent and it skips while writing at times. It’s comfortable to use and writes nicely when it works, but the spotty ink keeps me from loving it completely.

This is a great pen. The weight is evenly distributed unlike similar pens which makes writing easier. I know it is a bit pricey, but after 2 weeks the quality is very good and appears to be worth the money. Does not feel cheap at all. I purchase separately Scriveiner blue ink refills 0.5. You should buy it and try it out.

Pen itself is gorgeous and feels nice right down to the satisfying sound when closing the cap. The ink is very quick drying but I have a few issues with it. At work I've noticed two things - the ink doesn't always come out evenly. Sometimes hardly any ink will come out. To get it to be consistent I have to write in a very particular way which is tiring for my wrist and hand. That makes it not very practical for me given how much I have to write for work. Adding to that I noticed on some types of paper the ink isn't just see through to the other side of it but will actually bleed through a bit. Given at work we have some books where we write on both sides of the pages that can be an issue. To use this pen long term, and I really want to as I absolutely love it otherwise, I'll have to find refills elsewhere which also fit within it.

This is a beautiful inkpen. It writes smoothly, it's heavy duty and won't break easily, and is really nice to use. The colors are pretty as well. I have bought several, and may buy another.

A beautiful pen. Will it be mightier than a sword? I don't know yet. The pen has a good weight in the hand and is easy to hold. The ink flows effortlessly onto the paper and doesn't require any pressure at all. The metal feels solid and smooth in the hand. At first the pen seemed short but with the cap pushed securely onto the back the balance is very good.

This is a beautifully crafted pen. When you don’t want to spend $500+ on a Mont Blanc, this exquisitely inscribed pen is a great gift. The package is lovely as well.

Love the look and feel of this pen. I thought I'd ordered a ballpoint pen, my mistake. This is such a lovely writer it isn't being returned, I'm still ordering the ballpoint as well, that's how much I like these pens. Yes, you can buy cheaper, but I found they never really felt satisfying to use. If you love writing you really can't go wrong with Scriveiner pens, this really is a case of you get what you pay for. That said, the price is very reasonable for this quality anyway.
