It is hard to get the hang of this. You must practice. Once you do though it is nonstop FUN launching! We almost gave up on it because the balloon would encapsulate in the pocket so much that it wouldn't release. We started using smaller balloon and not stretching so tightly and solved the problem. Used it for a office team event. Bought 4 of these and all teams had a lot of fun and no problems launching over 100 feet. Don't give up on it!

IF IT'S NOT WORKING - try this. We were in a class getting ready to launch stuffed angry birds at a foam block tower and after several attempts, the birds would just flop on the ground - like just fall out of the pouch after launch. The dad I was with suggested that the kids holding the handles stand closer together. Sure enough! That worked. Have the two people holding the handles stand about 2' - 3' apart - no more. Have the 3rd person do the launching. The kids were too far apart and upon launch, the material in the middle couldn't unfold all the way and the bird would just plop to the ground. Great toy! Several uses! I have had mine for a year now and it's still holding up. One of the foam handles came undone but a few strips of duct tape solved that issue!

This thing was going to be super awesome and fun but it broke on literally the first balloon we tried to launch with it. Major disappointment.

The headline said shoots 300 feet. Well we actually shot water balloons 450 feet with it. I bought three of these because I wanted to have team competition however we never ended doing any competition but we launched 100's of balloons and all of them were pulled back to the max. The launchers will shoot further with more use and then they seem to level out. Our first shots were about 200 feet but they kept going further and further. We did have two have failures at the joining of the tubes but I was able to re-shrink the tubing to make them work again. We really abused the launchers and had a great amount of fun with them. For under $9 you can't go wrong but you might want to buy more than one in case you have a failure.

They dont shoot as far as some more stout slingshots, but they were more than enough to get my co workers flinging balloons about 200' without any issues. Construction wise they were well built and none of the five sets I bought had any defects. Given they came WITH some balloons, I would absolutely buy again.

I was excited to get this launcher. It was a good deal. I had a big party so I bought a lot. I had about half of them come apart with only minimal use. I was able to still use them because I tied the tubes together. They worked fine but it was a pain.

This is so much fun and it launches really far. It was tricky at first bc the balloons would pop right when we released them but we figured out you have to pull back and down and not just straight back. My nephew is 6 and my daughter is 8 and they could work it by themselves. If you want it to go really far then you need a little man power holding the device and pull it back and down as Far as you can.

We tried and tried and got a few water balloons off. I have not tried to analyze the design but you have to have very small (VERY SMALL) water balloons to have them not explode. We had about a 20% success ratio. I love the idea but it took so long to even get one going that I'm not sure we will even take it out of the drawer again. It is certainly not good for active water balloons fight since you have to be so careful and the balloons have to be so tiny.

It was fantastic for 1 launch and then broke when my wife went to launch our second. The seams aren't very strong so probably only let smaller children use this. probably wouldn't have broken from a child under 10.
